On the recently released record, Ahh, Ciara claims she is just “trying to be real.” Despite the over-used nature of that expression, her direct lyrical selection seems to indicate the obvious: Ciara is very sexual. If that wasn’t obvious when her Goodies arrived in 2004, or when she got hot and heavy with 50 Cent this past year, titling a song after the most common-sounding moan puts her over the top. With competition in the R&B market heating back up with releases this year from veterans Usher, Mariah Carey and R. Kelly (pending the outcome of his February trial), Ciara is obviously willing to do whatever it takes to stay ahead of the rumbling pack. Not surprisingly, her goodies still taste as good as ever.
this sounds a lil' boring she using the voice box T-pain uses which is cool but the song jus aint doin it 4me. After a song like "Promise" and "like a boy" she need to harder than dis.
dis is weak man.its 2 much like bandy.i think dats how u spell her name.im s*@t at spellin lol.j hood needs more of a part in dis song 2.im down wid wot tankhead is sayin wid da part about dat she needs 2 cum up wid something betta 2 follow up from promise n like a boy.but iv still got repect 4 ciara 4 wot she has done 4 rnb in da past.
This song will disappear quickly just like Chris Brown "Wall 2 Wall". She needs a strong follow-up, a "Kiss, Kiss" of her own if u will. And what's up with J Hood doing his best Fabolous impression.
I wonder why J Hood is on a track with Ciara...Maybe its because Ciara is 50-Cents girl and J Hood has been in negotiations with him to see if he could help out his struggling career. That's just speculation, but its a very good guess. Regardless, I am not really feeling this track and you wouldn't find me playing it back again. J Hood is an afterthought and this is FAAAAAAR from his best work. Weak rapping, just terrible. Ciara's voice is the only good thing on this track..too bad the message is wack too.
She could have done so much more with this beat vocally to make it hot. It's not missing much, it has potential to be a good song but she missed it this time...
IM A CIARA FAN!...but im not really feelin this song!...she's changing.... refer to the "That's Right" and the video with 50 cent...hopefully her music get back to the old wayz this year...
i love ciara but i'm not sure about dis track...i hate g unit (except banks and buck) and she can do better den dis. i have both albums and she should try 2 make thats right a successful single
