I love my wife, but I don’t think it’d be a good idea for us to work together professionally (unless I wanted to start spending a lot of nights on the couch). Well, apparently multi-Best of the Booth Award winner The-Dream has no problem mixing business and pleasure when it comes to working with his wife, the always lovely Christina Milian, and the proof comes in the form of previously-leaked Welcome to Vegas. In typical The-Dream and Tricky Stewart production style Vegas is a heavily electronic, hypnotically repetitive track, though Milian’s presence has obviously energized the pair – this is about as up-tempo as they get. For her part Milian glides over the track with vocals that aren’t exactly dynamically impressive, but don’t need to be. Seductive smoothness is what’s needed on a track like this, and Milian delivers. Milian and Dream are further collaborating on a baby, the impending birth of which has pushed back her album Elope indefinitely. Stay tuned for all the latest updates.

Dream/Tricky made hits for Rihanna & Mariah but I doubt it'll work for Christina. She just dosent have any personality, after the fist minute I was already bored.
The beat sounded something off of Love vs Money, verses something that could of gave the song some uniqueness. |

The-Dream and Tricky know how to turn water into wine so if anyone can resurrect Mrs. Milian's career its them. With that said, it should be interesting to see when this project actually drops. In the meantime, I'll rock out to the elementary (and ear candyesque) Vegas, baby!

ironically, she sounds al ot like Nivea on this track...but i digress.
i agree w/ HoamBoy, this sounds like somethin off of Love vs Money, and i wish Milian did more with this track, it's the kind of production that overshadows the artist if they don't own it. that being said, it's decent, i'll give it a few more spins then I prolly won't listen to it much. who knows it might grow on me... |

The-Dream and Tricky know how to make hot tracks, but I kinda see what Hoamboy is sayin. It did get a bit boring. I don't think Christina was the best fit, but that said there were good parts of this song. I'll give it rotation status. Wasn'tbad by any means.

We need another Dip It Low style track for me to become interested in Ms. Nash again. The-Dream may be my favorite artist out, but he can't work miracles for everyone. Even his efforts with Cassie were better than this. Its rotation though.

The problem with Milian working with her hubby is that if a track's dope everyone will say "see, dream can make anyone sound good" and if it's wack they'll say "see, not even dream can make Milian sound good." The only way she's going to avoid that paradox is to absolutely crush tracks, and she doesn't do that here - so I'll have to average things out to a three stars.
Do we have to make up a name for everytime they do a track together? Christina Dreamian?

Christina sounded very ordinary on this, there was absolutely no passion in her voice. Production was decent, though nothing special. This wont be a hit... hopefully that statement dosnt come back to hunt me

The beat "beat" her on this one. Nothing sadder then being out-done by your beat... Sounds like a j timberlake track with no one on the vocals.

Well idk what yall problems are but i thought that track was fire.. Usually when i listen to songs like that i get tired and bored but i love the seduction in her voice and her voice is really amazing; Maybe the people that disagree with me just have a taste for something new and ive always been a fan of christina's and this song was written for her so she made it her own and theres never anything wrong with that. It may not be like her other song but thats the point in a come-back ur trying sonething completely new. I loved it :] Keep upp the wonderfull work!
