You’re going to have to forgive me if I’m a little biased here, but after having the pleasure of meeting Christina Milian in person, I’m still having trouble thinking straight. It’s been almost three years since the intoxicating Milian last released an album, but after inking a deal with Interscope and marrying radio killer The-Dream she’s once again ready to set the industry on fire with Beat on My Drum. A thoroughly pop track produced by Madd Scientist that appropriately relies on a marching band drum line to propel the track forward with kinetic energy, Beat on My Drum is exactly the kind of purely enjoyable cut Milian does best. (A few years ago and it would have undoubtedly been on the DrumLine soundtrack. Sorry, had to make at least one Nick Cannon reference.) Beat on My Drum is off her upcoming album Elope, which currently has no set release date.

Not so bad, Christina's voice was sexy and some cathy lyrics to match. Only if the beat wasn't so annoying, I would of liked it more. Maybe Christina could be worthy competiton for the Rihanna/Beyonce R&B world were in.

I actually dug this. I thought Christina Milian might turn out to be a one-hit wonder with "Say I," but this was a good comeback track for her. It was pretty catchy and the production work was solid.

Sexy intro, kind of dropped off a bit with below average vocals. Production was a little too marching band-ish, but the chorus saved it a bit with that extra mastering. Not my favorite, but I would jump on this just because of the marketability and the possibility of a sexy video that I'm hoping for LOL.

This record was dope. Christina and The Dream got MARRIED? I thought they were just dating! How'd I miss this. I guess the did what he upcoming album title is. |

It’s sure better than everything that has leaked from her sessions with The-Dream. I don’t get it, he can make crazy beats and songs for everyone else but not his own wife. Ain't feeling the on-off production on verses but the hook is done just right!

Christina has a pleasant voice. It's not overpowering or out-of-this-world, but its nice on the ears. Her real success comes from her looks, her mojo, and her selective production assistance. You cannot go wrong with underrated boardsmith Madd Scientist. Not bad.

@GStan10 and Mike Dreams- i dunno bout a GRIP of hits, but she has some good songs. if she were a one hit wonder tho, it wold be cuz of "Dip It Low." now that was a hit.
@J Worthy- thats weird, i didnt know that either. song is ku, she is better with r&b ballads tho. |

Christian Milian is an attractive and decent pop/r&b singer who makes enjoyable music. Nothing wrong with that. Though I am a little nervous for collaborations between her and The-Dream. He's -let's be honest now - so much better than her musically it could be a weird fit.

I can listen to this - very catchy!!! I don't think he likes working with his significant other because he was married to Nivea and he didn't help her either....so maybe thats why - but yeah I heard Christina was pregnant - but yeah definitely good comeback
