Christian’Dee‘s new video, making its world premiere right now on The DJBooth, may be titled Nxnchalxnt, but don’t let the title decieve you; while the Shreveport, LA rhymesayer may have a nonchalant flow, he’s far from lazy. Rather, the H.H.I.D.S. emcee proves just how passionate he is about his rise through the hip-hop ranks over a self-produced jazzy, ATCQ-esque beat. On maybe it’s Dee’s heavily old school work on the mic that has me thinking about Tribe. Regardless, fans of old-school meets new-school rap will be happy to know that Christian’s forthcoming SHVPXRT album is just around the corner out and is due out September 25.
