18-year-old Chrishan Dotson is the kind of person that makes you seriously contemplate what the hell you’ve been doing for the first 21 years of your life. The Toledo native is barely of legal voting age, but it’s clear that he is already one of the more gifted singers and producers in his field. His new song, I Wish, is an ideal exhibition of his talents. On the mic, he sings in a rich falsetto. On the boards, he goes for the techno/R&B hybrid that’s been the craze lately, combining synth strings with panned drums that circle in a frenzy around his vocals. While no official announcements have been made regarding an album, he is rumored to be in the studio pounding it out right now.
His voice is super smooth and has a lot of potential. But I don't think he's quite there compared to the big dogs. What really kicks this track off is the killer beat.
I saw the high ratings for this so I expected something good and it is. The beat is really good. He also has a pretty good voice. So he is talented if he can sing as good as he can and make a really good beat. This could be a radio hit. though I did not like the part of the song where there was no lyrics over the beat. But other then that the song bangs.
Somebody sign this kid! NOW! I like this song just like the rest of yall do. The drum rift is hard. His voice matches this very well. The bass line is fire. I don't know what that sound is called so I call it the Lil John sound, only thing I don't dig, I think its played out, but all an all this beat is Destructive. Wait a minute MOTHA FUCKKA !! Polow is that you? HoT SHIT!!!!
I have heard another song by him lately, Video, and it wasn't that good (in fact he didn't produce it). This is a really good song, the beat is super and he can sing! He is what I call a talented artist, coz he has singing/producing skills! If an artist has a good voice but can't produce it isn't his fault, but if one is complete it's better! Banger!

This is the second song I've heard from him. Both songs are fire. Its good to see singer that produce for themselves and do a good job. I did question if he did produce when I heard the wait a minute mutha.. like you here on all Polow tha Don beats. But this a good song
I'm not really feelin the production on this one. It's like a big mix of MUMBOJUMBO. To me it doesn't go together. He can sing though and I can possibly see this in rotation but to me it's just ok.
