Like many other R&B artists, Chris J has been singing ever since his early childhood. First nationally showcased on 106 & Park‘s Wild Out Wednesdays, the Memphis native soon caught the ear of industry heavyweight Plies, who would go on to sign him to Big Gates Records (founded by his incarcerated brother of the same nickname) and feature him on Da Realist‘s main single, Put It on Ya. One thing Chris’s mentor has apparently taught him is how to put together a hit single; buzz single Balcony has the makings of a radio hit. Chris J’s smooth voice, lyrics appealing to the wide female audience, and a slow-jam beat by Adonis should help Balcony establish Chris J as a household name and Big Gates as a hitmaking label. Secrets is currently set to be released sometime in the new year, around the same time as one of Plies’ uupcoming albums (whether it’ll be closer to the fourth or fifth remains to be seen).

Really like this one. Maybe this guy has a future. I kinda thought he wouldnt do anything after Plies' single. This will probably get A LOT of radio playtime. Adonis did a good job with this one. Now lets just hope the radios dont murder this song like they do to most songs these days, lol.

Damn, I didn't know he was on Wild Out Wednesdays, gettin my education fix from the booth! This is your pretty average and normal R&B track, nothing too special and sticking to the same formula. Smooth production, high falsetto voice, and lyrics directed towards baby makin and hoping people see you. Gonna give a 3 for the overall quality of the track, and it's a great improvement for him vocally from the Plies joint.

Homey reminds me of "The Dream" but just way BETTER and less annoying. His vocal presence is also way better. Th production is really smooth. I wouldn't mind hearing this on the radio chillin' with a fine breeze. This is a really solid R&B effort. IT sounds like something like the "original" Jamie Foxx would be dropping if he wasn't dropping that futuristic weirdness right now. But I guess that's a whole different story..lol. Great track tho.

Nothing original here in my opinion, but it's a pretty rnb song. He's got a sexy voice and the production is smooth! I normally like songs like this, the prob is that they seem all the same to me. I can't find any element of differentiation on this song! In rotation
