On any given day my mind changes more times than Kanye’s personality (in other words, a sh** ton). Between school, work, and the rest of life’s troubles, it feels like my brain is nothing but Just Some Scattered Thoughts. While some would consider this a fault, I know that it can’t be all bad since Booth-approved Chris Faust and I both have scattered brains. With his latest record, Faust waxes lyrical over everything that’s been crossing his mind lately, from his lady friend to Chris Farley to his own dopeness: “My mom says never be vain, its semantics.” On the beat Lord Quest gives listeners one of the mellowest vibes in a minute, which actually only helps amplify the message that Faust delivers. Oh, and not that I’m biased *ahem* but a Booth shoutout at the end never hurts a track. Regardless of listeners’ control over their own thoughts, they should enjoy this example of attention deficit at its finest. While Scattered Thoughts won’t be on it, Faust fans should keep an eye out for his upcoming self-titled project Faust, due to drop on November 11.
