As you’d expect from his worldwide icon status and multi-platinum album sales, Chris Brown’s sophomore album, Exclusive, is getting a re-release. This upcoming Tuesday, June 3, the Forever edition (named for the re-release’s first single) will hit stores and online retailers, featuring the entire original album plus four new additions. Last on the track list is set to be the remix to his Will.i.am collabo Picture Perfect. In Will’s place are two fellow teen hearthrobs; Hurricane Chris and Bow Wow each chip in with how their ladies are every man’s fantasy, but only their reality. Does it improve on or fall short of will.i.am’s original spot? It depends on who you ask.
I was feelin the original, this is hot although I don't think it really improved the track as a whole. Bow spits a good verse although he is starting to sound like a broken record with his content, and Hurricane is ok. The production on this record is what shines, not the vocals. And since the production is the exact same, it gets a 3. This will get airplay too if it is released as an official single
Chris brown is the future of R&B, but honestly, I think his older work was better than his latest album. I see what the "machine" is trying to do for him to make him larger than life, but I'm not too sure of the direction they are trying to take him. This track doesn't really show his singing skills, and the beat is just OK. Bow Wow is OK on here. Overall, this is an OK track.
I actually have never heard the original...so this is my first experience of the song...AND IT'S FLAME. Will.I.Am smashed the production and Chris did his thing! I do agree I dig Chris's earlier work a tad bit better though. Hurricane Chris's style is so flame to me. His content may not be too in depth, but I definitely feel he has a unique delivery and flow. Bow spit a great first. His energy and flow was really nice and the capital S-W-agger was up. I could've swore he just said that line "get lost like the T.V show" on the last single I heard from him. Hmmm...am I wrong? This is definitely a hit though. It's interesting too...this seems to be the age of re-releases for albums. Fergie, and now Chris Breezy. Interesting.
Nice remix. Chris was smart to get acts in his age demo on this song... his younger audience would not have related as well to Rick Ross and Shawty Lo (for examples).
Same old Chris Brown sound. Doesn't sound like a hit. It might get some airtime since Chris Brown has the same sound that he has on so many other singles. This song is just OK, I expect better from Chris. He needs to incorporate his vocals more and put a lil more effort into a track if he wants to have a hit single, and this song ain't doin it.
i ono......... the production of the song is off the chain mixed down to the T but as a whole this is the only time i will listen to it ........ i jus dont like it
he clearly just redid this for more mainstream appeal with bow weezy and hurricane...for some reason i hate bow wow, but like hurricane on the track more.
Hurricane Chris came across like fire alot of passion and poise. Bow wow has that Snoop dog mellow sound so he did not come across as hard but this is definately IN ROTATION.
I think there trying to make Chris Brown into a Club-Popping artist now, but to tell the truth and everyone knows it, he was WAY better on the songs directed to the female fan-type. This song can go into rotation.
