If you thought it couldn’t get any better for Chris Brown (ya know, #1 single in the country and Caribbean vacations with non-girlfriend Rihanna), you might want to think again. On June 3, the teen R&B sensation will re-release his newest album, Exclusive, with four brand new songs and a bonus DVD with footage from his recent Up Close & Personal Tour. The new packaged disc will be lead by the Polow Da Don produced single, Forever, an up-tempo club joint with a futuristic Daft Punk pop feel. Interestingly enough, it’s Brown’s most logical competitor (and label-mate), Usher, who will release his new album, Here I Stand, a week before Exclusive: The Forever Edition hits stores.
Hmmm...the beat sounds different. Ooo, it's Polow again. LOL. I'ma go remake this on Garageband tonight. LOL. J/K. This sounds okay. It's not classic Chris though. After his epic last single "With You", this is really not adding up. It's decent though. I'm a Chris fan, so I'll thru this in rotation. I dig the different style.
this song doesn't really fit chris well...at least not when u campare to his past songs...this beat is very internatinal pop like michelle william's "we break da dawn" actually reminds me alot of that song...i think its ok tho jus doesnt suit him 2me.
I'm not sure what to really think of this track. It seems like Chris Brown is playing it smart and staying with the trend. I.e., the dance/pop/hiphop infusion. So many artists have been trying it and at first I took a bitter view to it, but the more I heard it the more I enjoyed it. That's why I can't really criticize this until I've heard it a bit more; especially when I really like his current 'with you' single (great groove and grows on EVERYONE). But I'll still give it a 4/5 since I have a feeling I'll enjoy it after a while. Oh yeah, do I hear a little Rihanna in the backup??
Polow da don must be the featured producer tonight. Chris Brown's album was solid. A re-release will just help increase his total sales. Song is definitely techno-friendly, and cross-genre.

This is hot to me sorry to go against most the ratings i mean i am a chris brown fan he is talented i do give credit when deserved i mean only t pain can master the vocoder in my opinion but the beat is fire and i can dig the fow of the song
I was listenin' to the radio this morning and they were cuttin' this song up. I don't think it's that bad but I'm not surprised that a lot people don't like it either. This techno stuff is way too poppy and I don't think it's going to catch on but it's a fresh sound. The music is kinda drownin' his vocals out in some parts, other then that, it was iight.
This is no doubt a different style for CB but i like it. I can see my and my girl dancing to this in the club or even at da crib. Hehe

Aight, Chris Brown has got it going for him. And Polow da Don is the perfect match to create a vibey club song. It has a great chorus and hook, but if he really wants to put this to works. Put Rihanna in the song with him, also possibly a T-Pain in the Chorus. This is Chris' first try in techno rap stuff, and would go perfct with him. Qouting from member TEH GREATEST, The young girls will love this. Yes they will and for all the respect i have for Chris, i hope more people will too.
dis here is good...i got 2 give it 2 c. breezy he doin his thing..but i think if he make a remix 2 this it gon be hot..especially if he puts a luda or t-pain on it...but i would love 2 c lil wayne do this and if its comes out 2 perfection then i would say dat guy is da best rapper of all-time behind 2pac...but overall i like it i can really c dis bein played like crazy everywhere
I think its a smash its kinda addicting to listen to because its wierd hearin chris like this for the first time. It kinda reminds me of that genre of music called powerpop. Its kinda a stretch but i tell you what he fuckin smashed it, This song is bangin. and the lyrics like always are bangin. He is a really good lyricist thats what i like most about him. I think he should do another song like this agian. He went out on a leap and he owned it.
This is supposed to be for me, that I'm an european? I don't know. I'm gonna make the same, old comment: the voicebox is really not for me!! It really disturbs my ears, and makes this song nearly garbage to me. It's ok only because I think it'll go in our clubs (european ones I mean)
Honestly, I am overall disappointed with the new Chris Brown album. For me, It was really his time to take charge of the GAME and throw it on his back! But he didn't do that. Instead he gave us some slightly better than average tracks that show his talents but not the Explosion I was hoping for. Just like this track here. The beat is smooth and new; his voice is good on here. Overall a Rotation track.
I'm probably like one of the only girls on Earth that don't like Chris Brown like that. I mean he's a cool and funny dude, but i can't Like hime Like him. But his songs is nice so he's nice so.....................he got it.

But i do give him credit for tryin to take over the pop world too. Its a good route to go since Usher is about to tear up the R&B charts. lol
Kinda like Rihanna switchin to Pop when Beyonce comes out with a classic R&B cd. Maybe Chris Brown is tryna get outta Usher's way.
I commend artists that take risks and attempt to be innovative. The song is "cute" but if it was on my ipod I probably would skip over it after a couple times. If the song came on in a club and i was on the dance floor i probably wouldn't know what to do with myself.

agree wit blaze, i was disappointed wit his album too. like i dnt like da wanna b grown up chris brown. it dnt sound rite....n dis damn song started gettin on my nerves...lol it does sound like polow is releasin his inner timbo....haha im actually proud of polow n his productions for '08 so far....
its ok. polow does sound a lot like timbo on this one. everybodys lovin that T-pain effect on their songs though. chris has a voice that shoudnt be wasted on it.
