Chris who? Let’s not fool ourselves, this isn’t Chris Brown’s song anymore (or Tyga‘s for that matter). When the lineup for Deuces’ remix was announced, it became the star-studded guest’s show. Produced by K-Mack, the minimalistic beat allows the emcees to go to work, and work they do. Drake begins the cut and lulls the listener in on the first verse – “You feel like you miss those happy days / Well girl that makes two of us “ while T.I. shifts the tempo with the change of the instrumental and his flow – “To see her/ In that 2-seater/ No, that’s goin’ hurt your feelings boo.” Kanye West then comes along and lays down some braggadocious lines- “You gon’ be hot a little while/ I’ma be rich forever” - and Fabolous complements the mellow vibe with his relaxed punch lines – “C’mon that’s old news / Yesterday’s paper.” However, the most anticipated verse is saved for last; Andre 3000, and it’s safe to say he doesn’t disappoint – “Chase cabooses till the track’s gone/ I gotta find me a new locomotive, stop ‘makin sad songs.” So the only real question is, dear DJBoothers, who said peace the best?

Andre 3000 was the best verse, but I thought Drake was a close second. This is the type of song he excels on. Kanye's verse was just ok to me. Fabolous could have done better too.
Andre 3000 and TI are in my top 10, and I respect Kanye and Drake lyrically, so overall I was underwhelmed by this song. To summarize: Andre 3000> Drake> Fabolous> T.I. > Kanye |

Damn that was long. Everyone was good but what happen to Chris? The verses should of been shorter with Chris still singing the hook.
Also I felt that Tip, Fab and Dre's voices sounded a bit out of place but no one was lyrically wack. My order would be 1. T.I., 2. Dre, 3. Drake, 4. Kanye, 5. Fab. |

Chris brown is totally out the equation lol, drake opens it up nice with his distinct production, kanye does alright but he couldve dropped a little more lyrics like he did on devil in a new dress, loso did good with his usual punchline flow, t.i. did good as well , now andre 3000 is definitely the highlight with his interesting flow and on point lyrics he pushes the song from good to great. overall great song and posse cut.

Chris couldn't do a verse because he had to get everybody in it. Kanye and Fabulous ripped it! Andre's verse was crazy!! Drake and T.I. were superb! This is going to kill the radio play!!

I really like the production here. I would have prefered to hear more chris brown because I thought he sounded really good on the original song. In terms of verses, Andre 3k and T.I. had my favorite verses. The only verse I didn't like was Kanye's, he can do better. Nice remix overall.

I am a fan of the slight production change-ups, not much else besides Andre 3k. Drake's verse rips off Usher, Fabolous put me to sleep, T.I. seems bored and Chris Brown is barely featured on his own song.

2. Drake 3. Andre 3000 4&5. not really note worthy. The part that made this song so repeat/classic worthy was the transition from Drake's verse to T.I's. that whole switch up was ridiculous. Regardless of Kanye's and Fab's boring verses i'm giving this track 5 stars! |

I didnt know it was possible to hardly appear on a track and still manage to get the artist credit... Chris really needed to be on this track more.
T.I.>Drake>Kanye>Andre>Loso T.I. seemed to be the only 1 who was really comfortable over the production imo. Andre didnt suit it and probably needed a switch up of production (like they did for Drake). |

I thought Kanye's verse was one of the weakest I'd heard from him in a minute, especially when it came to the punchlines. Travel agent? Toilet tissue? Come on Yeezy, you're better than that.
On the flip, Andre once again blew my mind, and I thought Loso's style fit this perfectly. I'd go: Andre > Fabolous > Drake > T.I. > Kanye.

It was a hot track for CB. But that is a huge line up of rappers on one track. T.I. verse was not meant for this song. Kanye killed it! Drake blended in perfectly on this song. Like he always do on soft songs. Fabolous was alright. Andre 3000 killed it!

For this line up, I was ready to be blown away. I almost did. I always love Andre 3000 and he did not disappoint. I am not a real fan of Loso, but he comes in second for me. Drake was a smooth beginning.
