After watching online blogs dig up and expose countless artists’ dirty secrets, listeners may be wondering if anyone in the game is truly who he says he is.  Field Mob alumnus Chevy P knows how these fans feel, and on his latest single he assures them that, if they simply, “Mention My Name” anywhere on the planet, those present will certify that he is, in fact, one hundred percent real.  Producer Canei Fitch clearly believes in him—otherwise, why would he have given him this Dirty South banger, which sounds like the result of a Jim Jonsin/DJ Toomp collaboration?  Hopefully this new single will get Chevy’s sizable fanbase to start mentioning his name to radio DJs—if enough listeners spread the word, the emcee’s currently-untitled solo debut could get a solid release date sooner rather than later.

Chevy P (and Field Mob for that matter) have always been personal favorites. Love the down south, relaxed vibe in their delivery and this uptempo production doesn't stop CP from "doing him." Enjoyable.

I really liked the vibe of this track. I guess I just really like his voice and it really goes well with the beat. Very catchy.

Canei conjures up a nasty beat with a kicking bass and snares and ChevyP does good with his street-raps style on full display ... 2.5

Not bad at all but probably a bit too sped up of a tempo if he's reintroducing himself as a solo artist. His vocals and flow have always stood out to me.
