The latest in a growing cadre of talented emcees emerging from the Pacific Northwest, Seattle representer Chev makes his entrance into the Booth with newly-leaked album cut Playoffs. Here, BeanOne‘s soul-sampled boardwork bangs in the back as the up-and-comer offers us a little insight into his upbringing, in the process showcasing some formidable mic skills. Named after and dedicated to the artist’s late father, who passed away in 2008, the Charles LP is scheduled for release in December.

2:00 THOUGHTS: The picture screams i drink Mountain Dew Code Red and play Modern Warfare on xbox live until the break of dawn (fUNKYzeebrah69). But the flow hit me and caught me by surprise. i love the passion but I dont really get the point. If this was in actual song form (hook and all) it would be better |
