Albany’s Chemistry is the latest in a long line of rap duos to try and parlay underground buzz into nationwide success. Rather than rapping about drug dealing or gang violence, Dand SIF have made it their mission to bring the crowd-pleasing, old-school flavor back to hip-hop. On a single off their forthcoming debut album, Straight to the Moon, Chemistry take a trip down to the local club, where they hope to see the ladies Get Down to Frankie P‘s house-sampling beat. One thing that’ll certainly attract listeners’ attention is Juelz Santana‘s guest verse, which finds him ready to swoop in and snatch up a few of these females on the spot. Already co-signed by numerous radio DJs, Get Down should lead to indie success, major airplay, and a bidding war for this up-and-coming duo. Straight to the Moon is set to arrive on store shelves this spring.

Great production. Love the vibe on this. Juelz rips it, and Chemistry did well enough not to be outshined.

The production is alright... Juelz's guest verse is pretty good, my favorite part of the song. I didn't like how it all kinda slowed down at the hook... Just OK for me

The upbeat production is the standout feature on the track. Though the Juelz feature helps to draw attention, I listened for whether or not the Chemistry fellas could hold their own. They do indeed come through. Rotation bound.

That baseline is sick..... kinda reminds me of Sean Paul's Temperature .... techno beat kinda threw me off,... & we def. need more from Juelz .... Where U at ???

Straight off the bat this joint had my attention has something different that is for sure. Like the sisco sound in the background. Juelz was hot on this joint.

Wow! This is too fire!!! I like the production - Oh and it's a Pleasure P production? I didn't know he was this good. Wow! I'm impressed.
Whoever was doing the vocals on this track - I likes. The chorus with a good singer helps in my rating this joint. I can definately groove to this in the club for a sec! Wouldn't necessarily ride to it - but I have other songs for that!!! This is really good! |
