Today, acclaimed underground producer !llmind released Volume II of his Blaps, Rhymes, & Life mixtape; some tracks feature heavyweights such as 50 Cent, Scarface, and Talib Kweli, while others showcase upstart newcomers like Ca$his, Heltah Skeltah, and Starrs & Murph.  One of the mixtape’s standout tracks, Streets, comes courtesy of Brooklyn native and DJBooth member Che Grand.  Over !ll’s sample of Richie Spice’s Youth Dem Cold, Che speaks on the hardships of street life, from extreme poverty to violent crime.  For more underground anthems, download a copy of the Blaps, Rhymes, & Life mixtape.

The production was pretty cool, and I liked the sample on this one. Che's flow was pretty nice, but the hook was kinda boring.

!llmind is a tremendously talented producer and "Streets" shows off his capabilities. Nothing that crazy, just a solid movable and catchy beat. Nice work.

Nothing too special, but I was still impressed. I remember that picture from the last feature we had from Che, so that helped me remember him.I have liked his music, including this.
