Charmingly Ghetto, the Boston rhymesayer who earned reader acclaim for cuts like The Shot Heard Round the World and No Light, has linked up with producer Zach Capner for a jazz-infused joint project. Newly-released single School Daze, possibly named after Spike Lee’s second feature film, offers a hint of what listeners can expect from the set. The aforementioned beatsmith’s mellow live-band boardwork sets the stage for bittersweet, romantically-themed bars from the unsigned lyricist.
