Chance the Rapper - Yolo
Artist: Chance the Rapper
Producer: Stefan Ponce
Album: Acid Rap
Label: Unsigned
You only live once, which means that it’s your responsibility to make every millisecond count. With that said, you’re unlikely to regret spending three minutes of that precious time taking a listen to Chance the Rapper‘s latest single. Premiered earlier this week as part of illRoots’ Radio, YOLO sees the Chi-town emcee showing off his high-speed flows as he drops verses inspired by the ubiquitous, Drizzy-popularized catchphrase. Stefan Ponce handles production duties, borrowing a sample from the arpeggiated-synth intro of SantiGold‘s Disparate Youth. Feeling this high-energy jam? Then keep your browsers locked for more fresh song releases leading up to the as yet unscheduled arrival of Chance’s Acid Rap street album.

Liking the beat. Good rapping/singing. Definitely a different type of approach.

Chance did a good job with this one. Production was relaxing and fun and really. Not the biggest fan of this, but I'm sure it will grow on me.

The instrumental on this track is dope.. It had a mix of familiar beats but they worked well together and Chance the Rapper definitely has potential
