As Jay-Z says, “it was all good just a week ago.” After Mr. West started his Good Friday series many rappers have picked up on the trend (although Crooked I’s Hip Hop Weekly was the OG of weekly series), including Houston representer Chamillionaire. Two weeks after he dropped When Ya On, the first of his Playlist Poison Series, today he follows up with This Is My World. Continuing the infectious hooks he’s been singing since the days of Get Ya Mind Correct, This Is My World starts off with Cham singing in his signature style, followed by a head-nodding verse. VMan Productions provides a guitar-heavy track with a bluesy influence, on which Cham and Mississippi newcomer Big K.R.I.T. lace verses about their plans for the future once they take over the world, while songstress Stephanie Tucker jumps in towards the end to assist Chamillionaire with the chorus. With two solid releases so far on Playlist Poison, one can only anticipate the forthcoming releases off the series and Chamillionaire’s upcoming album (hopefully Venom will strike someday).

Im a huge cham fan and im glad to hear him back at it again. Just so everyone knows, his playlist poison series isn't a weekly release or release every 2 weeks, its whenever he feels like releasing a track could be an hour, could be a month its whenever he wants. and there will be NO venom. he left his label because they wouldnt release venom and as a result of him leaving, they kept the album title and every song on the album including the pimp c song. so there will be no venom. cham will be featuring up and comers in the rap game as well as producers and his fans are helping him decide a new ablum title. just thought everyone should know that and the reason i know is cuz he announced it all on his ustream. songs awesome, love every second of it.

just cuz i know no one wants to read all that, there will be no venom haha. and i loved this song, strong lyrics on both cham and krits verses, chorus is so sick. oh and cham also has three new freestyles out, Rubberbands, the game needs me and pass out.

good to hear something new from Chamillionaire after a while. Used to be one of my favorite rappers then fell off after the Mixtape Messiah series. This isnt the strongest sign of him coming back, but its a decent track that gives me hope.
