Chamillionaire - Creepin' (Solo) ft. Ludacris
Artist: Chamillionaire
Featuring: Ludacris
Producer: DJ Montay
Album: Venom
Label: Chamilitary
Chamillionaire is a wise man. Instead of trying to convince his new label, Universal Republic, to push forward his third studio album, Venom, for a pre-holiday release, only to compete with new albums from Kanye West, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Common and Plies, the Houston emcee elected to sit tight till the new year. In the meantime, Cham has decided to drop the first street single from the project, entitled Creepin’ (Solo). The record, which is produced by Oomp Camp’s DJ Montay, features the emcee’s witty lyricism, the always-enjoyable sing-song hook, and an exemplary guest feature from Ludacris. If you are jonesing for more Chamillionaire and simply cannot wait until next year, peep the fifth addition to his Mixtape Messiah series, which will drop on November 23.

I'm definantly feeling this song and I dare say maybe even more than riding dirty. I could really feel what ya boy Chamillionair was saying and Luda just came through and put a smoking finish to an already good song.

BEST CHAMILLIONAIRE COLABO SINCE KRAZIE BONE..hopefully now that he's with universal republic they'll promote his album better than universal did for the ultimate victory. I think LUDA wrecked a little bit harder than cham but Luda didnt "straight Kill" cham on his own song..cham's lyrics and hook were both legit.

Let me start off by saying that I've been hearing and seeing alot of people say that Ludacris straight beasted Chamillionaire...but to me Luda's lyrcis were not anywhere near what they could have been considering he was talking about smoking, speakers, and beatin down the block...however he did come hard and ended the song with a bang and that "Wood Chuck" rhyme was classic...but Cham just lyrically layed it down better even though it might not have come with such a bang...the ability to rap and sing your own choruses is amazing and not many people can do it without the help of "The Dreaded Vocoder"...this song may not get radio play simply cuz it's just a street single as Z pointed out...but it will definately be banging through subs and speakers everywhere(trust me when i say it bangs)...this is probably the best beat from DJ Montay I've ever heard...and for once Cham had a superstar rapper alongside him on a track...i think I've explained myself enough CLASSIC!!!!

Luda absolutely demolished this at the end. There are few rappers that bring that level of energy to a song. Cham has a catchy voice and can rap, don't get me wrong, but his flow and delivery kind of bore me after a while. Great song regardless.

Cham is really killin these days. I have never seen a MC bounce back from that 2nd album curse better than this dude right here. His momentum from those mixtapes is incredible. This song is a typical beat choice for a Cham hit. I can see the formula for his game. Its almost like they are tring to recreate Ridin' dirty here. Does anyone ride a beat better than luda? No One I can think of. A few come close maybe that wizkid Cory Gunz, Kardinal kills beats with delivery, who else... T-Pain...ummm... Twista murks beats with his flow, those are the ones that come to mind off top. Pac was the best at it in my era of listening to music. None alive better than that kid luda though. This is his song in my opinion.

I'm with Big-A. The overall song is good, above all because Chamillionaire and Ludacris are skilled, but the production is kinda generic and there isn't a real melody, at least not something I would remember and I would be able to sing...the hook isn't bad but it's not catchy enough. In rotation

Chamillionaire's choruses are GREAT for a rapper! He does what 50 cent tries (but doesn’t achieve) which is sing his own chorus in tune and still sound intimidating! The subject is not that interesting but for us to complain about it would be hypocrite since “we” did nothing to support his conscious rap album, “Ultimate Victory”… :s guess you gotta dumb it down. Still, his delivery is on point! Luda is like using new batteries when he comes in, so much energy, damn! He could say only garbage it’d still be cool :p As for the beat, you’re a bit too harsh on it Big-A, it’s generic but it’s like using a good recipe!
Anyone else thinks this would blend well with “Put On” by Jeezy? |

in response to FredRico i think 50 and chamillionaire have brought some of the sickest hooks and choruses to the rap game PERIOD...if they were to do a colabo it would be ill..and someone was talking about if cham did a coloba with kanye..i think i'd rather hear him do a track with 50 or em..but now that kanyes doin the singing thing it might mesh well..looking forward to buying VENOM

Oh yeah, I gotta give you that LAMELEON, I don’t deny 50’s gold touch, I only meant Chamillionaire does a better job singing well tuned. You can tell 50 ain’t a singer, but Cham almost fools you! ;) Your collabo suggestion sounds a lot better, I don’t even think Cham matches with Kanye, they have very different styles

To everybody who keeps sayin chamillionaire didnt have enough "energy" are idiots.. the song is called "Creepin".. it's laid back.. a song meant to focus you more on what is said.. any real ni99a will like this song.. because what was said was so real.. "closest people to you hate, so i be rollin solo".. and dont get me wrong.. luda killed it.. but damn give chamill some credit .. ni99a said "can't take money out my account because my bankteller get motion sickness".. instead of focusin on his delivery, listen to his lyrics first.. then u will understand his delievery and why he not so wired on tha track... Chamillionaire= most underated rapper in the game,
