I think this brought out the best in all the artists.
Cham hits hard again, so does Slim Thug, Trae & Z-Ro spit their street classic talk, and UGK, well, their name says it all. Mike & Paul's verses don't sound as good as the rest, but they definitely step their game up. Where my H-Towners at? |

I love when a city can come together on a cut. Houston might not have the most talent lyricists or dynamic personalities, but they certainly have unity (which is a lot more than most major Hip Hop cities can say).

Say, did he finish making the vid for Industry Groupie? I hope Ultimate Vacation comes next. I also hope Chamillionaire gets some attention. These songs are awesome. |

First - Incredible song. I'm an east-coast kid at heart and I'm loving Texas right now.
Second - Why all the anti-Paul Wall sentiment? His verse on this is average at best, but is he really "what's wrong with hip-hop"? Sure Em would kill him, Em would kill almost anybody. Paul Wall doesn't sound like anyone else, and in an industry of copycats I can at least respect that. Does everyone out there hate Paul Wall?

Im glad ALL of Houston played nice & learned to make money together by squashin all that BEEF shit! As far as the song goes, I must say Chamillioanire has suprisingly stepped his game up & so has Z-Ro. UGK will always be legends & everybody else needs to go back to the lab & live in the booth.

Slim Thug rips it, Mike Jones has a decent line for once, Cham has the same flow as usual, Z-Ro does quality, liked his verse a lot, Paul Wall ain't too bad, BUN B rips it as always, such a great MC, quality flow on this and always my favourite on remix's, Pimp C sounds retarded when he begins, then he doesn't sound too bad, I just don't rate him and never had, but other than him, the song is really good. H Town is a problem.

The whole album made me a TRUE Chamillionaire fan. Especially Rocky Road. I don't care what anybody says about southern rappers in general, yea a lot of them are crappy, but there's no way you can fit chamillionaire in that pile. I like ultimate victory because all/99% of his songs have a moral.

Some bright spots here.
I hate z-ro and paul wall and they were trash like I expected. ugk are legends but part of the track. cham is hit or miss on tracks for me. he puts work in on this one though |
