Last we heard from Cesar Luciano, he was grappling with heartbreak on March album leak Upside Down. Fast-forward a couple weeks and I’m happy to say that the Rhode Island rhymesayer’s turned his mood around—with the help of his favorite smokable substance. Making its world premiere, Gettin’ High finds Luciano trading blunted bars with Richie Grand over a smooth beat by Marv X. Confessions of Rubirosa: The Last Playboy has yet to receive a drop date, but fans can still cop the artist’s Catch Me if You Can street album for free in the Booth.

I know 4/20 is right around the corner so "smoking songs" are a must this time of year, but Ceez is actually capable of more. This works, but shouldn't be the standard for new listeners of his material.
