Forever is a long time – and that goes double (well, times-infinity, actually) when you’re an immortal sparkle-vampire like Edward Cullen Cee-Lo Green. Fresh off the release of reader-acclaimed single Georgia, the ATL eccentric is back with something cooked up for inclusion on the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack. This new joint finds the vampiric singer pouring his heart out to a Bella-esque shawty, asking: “What Part of Forever don’t you understand?” While the record’s galloping folk-rock groove (co-produced by Rob Kleiner, Oh, Hush! and the artist himself) is a departure from Cee-Lo’s psychedelically soulful usual, it’s hard to argue with its energy – and the artist’s always-infectious vocals ensure that the record’s appeal will extend far beyond Stephenie Meyer’s fanbase. If you’re a preteen girl, I’m sure you’ve already drawn a big red heart around June 30, when Eclipse is tentatively set to hit theaters. If you’re not, well, you still may want to grab a copy of the star-studded soundtrack when it drops this Tuesday – and you’ll definitely want to keep it locked for the latest on Cee-Lo’s forthcoming Lady Killer LP.

Cee-Lo is always on some other s**t lol. This isn't the type of music I would normally listen to but I'm suriprised on how much I like it. Maybe becuase it's Cee's voice, I always thought his voice was cool, nice lyrics to match too.

like the whistling and guitar in the beat at the start- got a real summery laidback feel. this song is very easy to relax to, so smooth and soulful- another cee-lo song i like, the list is growing quickly!

I'm trying to find out if I would listen to this all the time or not. Probably wont but if it gets played at a club I'll be happy. Warm feelings go over and that does the trick for me. The whistling and guitar has that flowy affect on me. Cee-Lo does well but this ain't much my cup of tee.

Cee-Lo consistently reminds me of why he should be mentioned among musical greats. This is on the twilight soundtrack though? Does he have an album coming?

I don't care much for the soundtrack or the movie, but I must say Cee-Lo is the man! All this record does is excite me over the possibility of new material (in the form of an album) coming soon.

I really enjoyed this, the whistling and accoustic guitar then the drums coming in with Cee-Lo's vocals. Breathtaking.

Can't say I know much about the world of Twilight (I'm sure that will change when my daughter gets older), but there's only one man who could make a track like this, and his name is Cee-Lo. Did he just combine R&B with country western? Crazy talk, and it sounds pretty damn good. All hail the mighty Lo.

This is a one time listen. Like how Cee-lo is unique in his tracks. I could barely here what he was saying in this though. Might just be me.

I think this just might be too different for me, I like Cee-Lo more when he is belting out powerful vocals.
