Beat is flame. What the....wait a minute, is anyone having trouble feeling the tempo or flow of the beat. You simply just can't catch it. LOL. What in the world. Cassie was not BAD on here, but not SUPERB either.
Timbo did a great job with DANJA. He is going to be a solid producer. Cassie doesn't bring the bacon on this track; however, the hook is fine. A 2.5 rating.

I wonder...why do they produce songs for her?! If she sings, I can sing, too! Ok she his beautiful, but she could be a simple model (like she already is) or an actress playing particular roles! The beat is fire production is very smooth real tight i like it but its diffrent for cassie it probably can get some radio play but its in light rotation.

I mean, if someone sings very well, doesn't mean they gon be singers, almost in the same line that sales don't mean quality music. I'm not frontin, but you'd be amazed at how many girls sing better than Cassie :p almost every girl I played with!! She's NOT a singer, she's just a gorgeous woman as DONJONJON will surely remind y'all! lol But a Danja beat is never garbage.
mmooore1127 don't be so sharp! Mine was only a joke to say that her voice is very weak. I'll tell you what happens: if you are very beautiful and you are a model you can have a normal voice but they'll let you sing for sure! I'm sorry but there are a thousand girls out there who have amazing voices and, even though they try, they don't manage to find a label which gives them some credit...I can't understand why they should write and produce songs for Cassie! She could be an actress, a dancer, whatever she wants, but as a singer she is mediocre. I'm not saying that those with normal voices haven't a permission to sing, but I prefer giving credit to someone more talented. She has a normal voice, she can't write/produce, that's not what I call TALENT. It's only my personal opinion, to me she is quite useless in the r&b scene, even if her producers are very good and I enjoy most of her songs. But it's not thanx to her! Free not to agree with me ;)
Her flow is horrible in the beginning. The beat outshines her singing. I don't know if this should be her first single. I def. feel the subject of the track though.

we all know she can't sing like Beyonce or Mariah, but that doesn't mean she doesn't serve a place in the r&b market. i've said it b4, she has quality beats that compliment her voice. plus, she's not the only "singer" out there who can't really sing (Britney Spears) so she really shouldn't make songs were it sounds like she's tryin to sing. I like this song though, and no i don't like everything she makes, her first album was really rough and a couple of her leaked tracks were pretty bad, but compared to alot of her other stuff this is really good. I think it's easy to wanna compare each singer to Beyonce or Usher but not everyone's voice is the same or has the same talent. If I hear a singer who's not really great, I just compare his new stuff to older stuff, if he's improved, whether or not I like it. and FredRico, some peeps on here already stole my thunder bout her looks haha so no need to mention the obvious! Rate = 3.5 stars

Donjonjon yes you are right, she can stay in the r&b scene, there's place enough for everyone (more or less), I only said that to me she's quite "useless" because if a girl has the privilege to sing and make videoclips, I prefer her to be talented, I prefer her to really deserve a space in the music scene! And yes there are many who cannot sing (Britney Spears but also many many others) and I don't admire any of them...in my opinion if you have particular skills (as a comic, actor, singer etc) you deserve to become famous, otherwise you stay unknown like me. I don't have any particular skill and I am a normal person lol. As for Cassie, she surely has skills but not as a singer! Britney Spears has NO SKILLS, there's no hope lol

Just because Britney and Cassie aren't "power singers" doesn't mean that they can't sing. They can sing...they just have a different sound. Personally, I'm glad that not everyone belts like Beyonce. I like softer "prettier" voices like Cassie's...and edgier pop voices like Britney's too. It adds more variety to the music scene. As for this song, it's actually pretty good...I wouldn't want a power singer singing this. Cassie's voice fits the beat quite nicely. Solid track.

Lakers4life, to be honest I don't like Beyonce's voice and if I had to choose a voice that for me is really breathtaking, I wouldn't choose Beyonce, for sure. She has a powerful voice, but most of the times it gets on my nerves, and many people (friends etc) agree with me! She's talented but tastes are subjective, as usual! Britney Spears CAN'T sing, Cassie either! It's not about having or not having a bad/good voice (you are right, the music scene HAS to be various), they have no tecnique, they are weak! Sure there's space for a "normal" voice, if it's used in the right way! If you are famous and make a million dollars for you music, the least you can do is being able to sing correctly! That's what many singers can't do (many of them sound terrible live)...that's what I think! I'm still wondering why "artists" such Britney became famous...in her case luck, only luck.

Like the beat... LOVE the beat actually. But Cassie kind of ruins it. Usually she has nice catchy little melodies to sing along to that make us forget how bad of a singer she actually is and sing along to the song. This song however, lacks that catchy hook and melody. Im not feeling this joint at all. I recon this will be one of those songs that gets hidden in the back of her album.
I've had this track for a few weeks now and I keep going back to it on my iPod. I love this song. I think it's cute, we all know Cassie can't sing, but the lyrics are nice and I don't know who else could've made this song.
Damn, this song grew on me. The beat is pretty tight and the lyrics are on point as usual by The Clutch. Danja can do some good stuff and yea a lot of his beats sound like Timbaland, but he's puts his on original style on it. I can't wait to hear her album, too! She may not be a good singer, but those Ryan Leslie/NextSelection beats are bangers! Plus I also hear she's workin wit Kanye and The Neptunes!
hm i like this anyone who says she cant sing just shut up ok we get it, anyone who doesnt like like song listen to it 10 times and you will like it yeah it is off beat shay your right but you get used to it once you listen to it for a bit!
