Shortly after Lil Wayne dropped his current chart topping single, Lollipop, the overly-popular rapper also leaked his accompanying street single, A Milli. Though Lollipop is doing very well at radio (and on DJBooth.net), A Milli has received mixed reviews from many of Weezy F. Baby’s diehard fans. So now, roughly one month later, Philadelphia breadwinner Cassidy, who is evidently bored because J Records has finished dropping singles off his latest studio album, B.A.R.S., has decided to turn the mixed reviews upside down and drop his own freestyle version. For Wayne’s sake, the new June 10th drop date for Tha Carter III had better stick.

Cassidy is killing these remixes. I give him credit for doing a Lil' Wayne song; however, there's no comparison because both artists put a diffirent spin on this beat. I like the lil' wayne shut out!

CASSIDY IS ONE OF THE BEST LYRICISTS...PERIOD! This is just another example of his skillz! He is INSANE with the flow! This beat was always good and CAssidy gives you a different flavor on the same beat! Lil Wayne's is slightly better because he is on another Planet right now in my opinion; but this is still a BANGER!
"put the chrome to ya own dome and hollow yourself" lol Cassidy consistantly has the hardest lines in his freestyles.. I love watchin him battle, and i like his mixtapes better than studio albums.. with a few exceptions
yo the beat is actually high quality, but the computer speakers dont do it justice. i gotta re-rate my milli rating cuz you cant even hardly hear the a milli chant after the bass hits. as for this, gotta listen first, cant now, will later.
Cassidy is not that great of a rapper. When he's good, he's really good, but half the time he's just so-so, like here, wit a so-so beat. and i really don't like that pic up there, he looks like he's wearin makeup or a rubber mask from mission impossible
This beat can get annoying they should drop the "a milli" during the verses and just bring it back as the hook then it would be fire, also Cass does put it down on here as he usually does and yes I would put him up against d@mn near anyone in a battle
im really feeliin this...and as far as the "milli" background i had to listen to it a few times to get used to...but i think cassidy really got skilz!!
changing the rapper from Wayne will not make this better, EVER! changing the annoying production will. Cassidy does good, but I like Wayne better, and i still dunno bout the annoying production...it's growin on me though.
I've always been one to say that Cass would murder Wayne in a battle, and I'll stand by that until it happens. Wayne was good, about 300 mixtapes ago. Aka, 2-4 months ago. Once he's used every rhyme he can use, Wayne gets old fast. And Cassidy's always got new punchlines. The beat's annoyin with the backround, but still. He's the best around when it comes to free'in.
