14 years ago, Kiam Holley and Victor Santiago hit it off while working kitchen duty at the Collins Correctional Facility, setting the tone for what would be a lasting relationship of hits and misses. Now seasoned veterans, Capone-n-Noreaga (CNN for short) are making a splash once again by dropping their first album in eight years, titled Reporting the War. Expect more street rhymes and prison rap from the Queensbridge emcees, who always seem to be finding their way back to the can. On the album’s first single, Money, they broaden their horizons a bit and tackle the ins and outs of paper chasing and making it rain. Aided by Shawty Lo and producer combo Play-N-Skillz, the track will likely get its fair share of spins on the strip club circuit.
I didn't even want to click on this, but I took Z's advice from last week and didn't judge a book by it's cover. This is mad unoriginal. I am not feeling it really. Capone n-Noreaga switch flow was decent, but Shawty Lo is "suck trash".
I guess Unearth hasnt caught on to the reusing beats craze right now LOL, and it doesn't sound exactly like it either.. CnN always comes hard, Shawty Lo KILLED this track, i Loved his CD to, idk y most people dont like him..
Shawty Lo bring down the value of every song he's on. I love Capone-n-Norega from way back so this is a bias review. Again I wanna underline that Shawty Lo is Garbage.
If you already listened to this song on your computer speakers, I want you to hot wire your REAL STEREO speakers to your computer. Turn the treble down and pump this. You will realize two things: 1) Shawty Lo sounds better than he did on your computer speakers. 2) This knocks.
Okay this song has a tight beat. I'm listening to it on my headphones and its blasting so far. Gotta get them on the subs though. Song overall is decent. I don't know about Shawty Lo though. Never really liked him and his CD was wack. But its not about him on this song. CNN did decent with this song but they still need to step it up. In The Rotation!
Play-N-Skillz are pretty wack if you ask my spoiled ears and what they fuck is wrong with everybody featuring wack ass Shawty Lo?! anyway it sounds like a vocal sample. heard much much better from CNN already
This is hard for me to do because I have been a fan of CNN for awhile and I like Shawty Low in certain songs but I aint feelin this beat or the delivery. It kinda sounds like the beat in "Got money" with T-Pain and Lil Wayne. Either way it's worse than that beat and I wasn't feelin that one either.
