It’s official, Cam’ron is back. Once the king of the Dipset empire, label beef and personal problems largely forced Cam out of the spotlight for the last few years. With those difficulties seemingly behind him, Cam began his climb back to the top in 2009, dropping new album Crime Pays and then delivering a classic Killa Cam verse on the Clipse’s smash Popular Demand. Just like that demand for Cam tracks is high once again, a demand we’re meeting today with the new leak Ooh Baby. A smoothly paced track reminiscent of his 2002 smash Oh Boy, Ooh Baby is built around a softly pounding beat from Araabmuzik, complete with high-pitched vocal samples, while Cam and guest artist Vado drop oddly romantic lines about their special lady friends: “Let’s do something different today, stop at the corner store and get two Yoo Hoos and three Buttercrunch.” Who says chivalry is dead? Further details surround Ooh Baby have yet to be confirmed, but we’ll be sure to update with more info when we get it.

If you are a fan of Cam, how can you not like this record? Its a straight throwback to the Dipset days! (Which also leads me to believe that its an unreleased cut - waiting on confirmation from Cam's people).
If the future of Cam's material is closer to "Ooh Baby" and further from half of his "Crime Pays" album than I'll be one happy listener. |

Just told the fiancee that I was taking her on a date. She asked where we were going and I said the corner store to pick up a couple Yoo Hoos and some buttercrunch, then ride the train, though she'd have to bring her metrocard cause I ain't rode the train since they had tokens.
Best...intro...monologue...ever. |

The tracks got that old Dispet swag, thats all that needs to be said.
I would of loved to of heard Juelz drop a verse on this since those 2 were destroying production like this back in the day |

Cam always sounds best on soulful beats and this could of easily been on Come Home With Me. Vado seems like he's playing the Juelz Santana role on this song, just the sidekick for Cam. Wheater it's '02 or '09, Cam still sounds just as fresh.
