Ca$his - Bigga Than Me
Artist: Ca$his
Producer: Komplex
Album: Euthanasia LP
Label: RBC Records/eOne
Despite rampant rumors, Ca$his has not been dropped from Shady Records; still loyal as ever to the camp and willing to wait his turn for the big-name success, the Chicago/OC representative is currently busy starting a new record label, Bogish Brand and holding his place alongside Bobby Creekwater as the last of the Shady/Interscope protégés. The widespread gossip, however, likely played into Ca$his’ decision to start pushing the long-awaited lead single off his debut album, now called the Euthanasia LP. As much as Ca$his enjoys the street experience, he loves the music business even more—as he puts it on the newly-released record, “This rap sh*t is Bigga Than Me.” Spitting over a smooth-banging beat by Komplex, Ca$his adopts a flow reminiscent of that which helped a previous Shady signee ascend to diamond-selling fame. As you’d expect, the Euthanasia LP has no set release date, but fans should keep it locked to the Booth as they await further details—Ca$his is set to contribute to our exclusive freestyle series later this summer.

For an artist in his position - waiting his turn while all his friends get to go out side and play - Ca$his couldn't have come with a more relevant single choice. Since it seems he understands the politics and the business, hopefully his patience won't run out. Dope beat by Komplex and a solid offering from my fellow Chicagoan.

Man he sounds real gritty in this. Incorparation of the flute and guitar added to the atmosphere. Not bad lyrically although it didn't blow me away.

Yeah I didn't think this was anything spectacular. He flowed aight on here. The production was pretty cool with the different instruments but nothing more than rotation for me.

?!? Pleasantly surprised by everything about this!
Beat is very interesting, mixing a few styles and many instruments in a harmonized way so you can appreciate each feature. Ca$his did great with the flow. You can tell the effort cuz the words match with perfect timing. A bit of 50ish, yes, but that 50 no longer is, so Ca$his is more than welcome to adopt it. |

Does the man have enough ink on his bones? DAMN lol This is easy to sleep on, his flow is uninspired on this track. Doesn't capture attention at all. I think most will find this boring in a live performance, but to the ears, his punchlines stand out. This is just ok to me.

Even though the beat is unimpressive, the lyrics and his flow are, in fact, pretty good. OK
You see, kids, the musical backdrop can make or break a song .... |

I like his flow and the production is fresh. It's not exactly my type of song, but I enjoyed the listening

The Komplex beat was hot but I can't give Cashis no love because he jocked 50's whole style. I'm not a big 50 cent fan but at least he has his own originality.

Sounds like 50 before he started to suck. But for that reason I can't give him a higher rating. Swagger jack

This is the firsttime i really sat down and listened to Ca$his, He could be one of the NExt big names, if he really takes his career more into his hands. Shady Records/Interscope, is a little slow on releasing what peopl really want. Even if the albums/Lp was released as a digital down load only it would push recognition out there more.
Maybe We will See Ca$his on the D12/Potluck tour "Dirty n Dazed" cause even though he is on a "major label" he is bound to be held back by the politics. |
