I’ve got bad news for all the fellas in the house: if you’ve been sitting by the phone, wondering, “What Happened To That Girl?,” there’s a good chance that the lady in question can be found in the Big Apple, sipping champagne with Kidd Dominion and Shakez of the C.U. Kids. On this newly-leaked mixtape cut (the duo’s first Booth feature), Shakez heads out on a recruiting run, spitting laid-back game in hopes of attracting a few more females to his and his posse’s already-sizable harem. The emcee may be a “professional honey-taker,” but he comes with pop-referential, swagger-drenched rhymes that’ll impress the guys as well as the ladies, and Team Green‘s sci-fi synth accompaniment (complete with chopped-n-screwed vocal accents) gives the cut a uniquely intoxicating vibe. Those who like what they’re hearing can find more lightly-carbonated left-of-center jams on the twosome’s This Calls For Champagne mixtape, which has yet to receive a solid release date.

Ha I LOVE this blend! Mixing the Birdman with this beat was genius, A+ on the boards there. CU Kids brought a swag on here too leaving a fresh impression. Sounded a bit like New Boyz but totally different impression. Nice!

Song is slick, I don't like the "what happened to that girl" CLIPSE using say "what happened to that boy" I hate when people slightly copy something. Song was okay.. well delivered, could have came harder. Not a mainstream joint but going on the right path.

Production is fly! right down to chopped-n-screwed vocals as hook. And Kids deliver good rhymes with nice voice and flow, outcome is Rotation fa sho!

all around a unique sound, somethin u dont hear from too many new artists out these days. the production was tight and the verses are witty and original. hope to hear more from c.u. kids in the future
