Kids are now offering stunting lessons, and all they ask in return is your girl (who they were planning on stealing anyway). On Knew Better, the second official leak off the NYC twosome’s This Calls for Champagne mixtape, Shakez shows listeners exactly what it means to be young, fresh and fly, informing females who don’t immediately appreciate his greatness that they can feel free to stop by his place once they catch on. Over K.E.‘s synth-loaded, rap-anthemic boardwork, the emcee delivers a double-helping of the leisurely braggadocio that won the C.U. Kids’ first feature rave reader reviews. The group’s forthcoming mixtape is set to drop in the fourth quarter of ‘09, but those who like what they’re hearing should keep it locked to our frontpage in the meantime—leak number three will be making its exclusive world premiere right here in the Booth!
