The swagger-impaired (myself included) can breathe a sigh of relief; Lz and Shakez of up-and-coming duo C.U. Kids are now offering stunting lessons, and all they ask in return is your girl (who they were planning on stealing anyway).  On Knew Better, the second official leak off the NYC twosome’s This Calls for Champagne mixtape, Shakez shows listeners exactly what it means to be young, fresh and fly, informing females who don’t immediately appreciate his greatness that they can feel free to stop by his place once they catch on.  Over K.E.‘s synth-loaded, rap-anthemic boardwork, the emcee delivers a double-helping of the leisurely braggadocio that won the C.U. Kids’ first feature rave reader reviews.  The group’s forthcoming mixtape is set to drop in the fourth quarter of ‘09, but those who like what they’re hearing should keep it locked to our frontpage in the meantime—leak number three will be making its exclusive world premiere right here in the Booth!

Light-hearted, simply, and pretty catchy. For me, the production really steals the show here. The chimes in K.E.'s production are really nice. Lyrically, this is a bit stale, but the final product is rotation worthy.

I like the chimes. I think the production was a bit to good for the people featured on this track. Give this track to wayne kanye or drake i bet they would have murdered this and just swept us all away. So since the lyrics are whack but the production is killer Id give this track on my rotation.

I agree with Z. this is (slightly) stale. but, this song wud go on my mp3 player, which wud make it a banger in my opinion. The production overshows him but (C.U. Kids) bounces on the beat in a good. way.

Gotta agree with ya'll from the airy synths to the sparking chimes, to the fast-pounding bass that drives it along, the beat is just really something special and it is definitely the highlight of the track. Lyrically, its just another “Im so fresh” record and yes! your guess is right - Production is fresh but lyrics are not ... Rotation fa sho!

The production is definitely radio-ready. The beat has light and airy feel to it girls would love. Throw Drake on a remix, let him add a hook and a verse and you will have a radio smash on your hands.

I honestly thought better. I love the beat and the music but their flows are a lil boring, esp in the hook. Not bad but expected something different
