While hip-hop acts in Atlanta tend to come a dime a dozen nowadays, there are still a few that stand out above the rest. One of these standout groups is Universal Republic signees C-Side (not to be confused with Miami rapper C-Ride), who previously were known for their summer ‘06 hit MySpace Freak, but are now bringing a positive message with their new single, Boyfriend Girlfriend. In the song, Kenny Kold, Bo-Q and Gator try to keep their relationships going despite a busy road tour, and along to assist are A-lister Keyshia Cole on the hook and a dance floor beat courtesy of Marvelous J. While several of their hometown label mates are often passing fads (where you at, Shop Boyz?), Boyfriend Girlfriend proves that C-Side definitely has staying power.
I never really liked this song from the get-go. I heard this a while ago. I don't like their flow on this song at all. The chorus is so-so. Its only OK.
I LUV THIS SONG ITS A CATCHY, UPTEMPO, DANCE JOINT...VERY MUCH LIKE OLD 90'S CLUBBANGERS...KEYSHIA KILLS THIS HOOK....N THE C-SIDE FLOW IS REALLY GUD, SOMETHING BOUT THEM THO REMIND ME OF TREAL..NOT SURE IF ITS THEY RAPPIN STYLE OR VOICES. BUT OVERALL HOT SONG.
Hey MoniquenCj, this version (w/ Keyshia) is actually brand new. The song itself had been recorded w/o her, then when they signed a deal with UR, they re-recorded it with their new BFF. Its amazing how the industry works. This will work at radio.
songs ok but honestly i am sick of hearing it..it plays on the radio all day everyday since the fall of 2007..and what did they change on it...the hook?
First off, i can't stand keyshia so that made me not like this song when i read the title. on the other hand the beat fits their flow and they did alright. eh.
i aint never heard it. i like it, and i can def hear this on the radio. its just one of those songs u groove to and dont really listen to the lyrics for real. im tired of hearin songs with lines tlkin bout myspace and top 8s...that ish is gettin on my nerves.

i heard this song a minute ago but i liked the girl that was on the first version .. well the chrous was a little bit more up tempo but i dunn think this will put them on the map. this is more like a field mob track.
This is better then that Kelly Rowland song, Daylight. If there is three in a group, shouldn't they help each other with their lyrics? If this is the rapping effort of all three... it's a little lacking.
I don't understand so much about good rapping, good chorus etc etc...maybe it's because I'm european and used to hearing catchy songs, but I like this!
