Whether or not he was guilty of the ‘01 murder for which he served two years of jail time (before receiving a retrial), C-Murder is not someone you want to mess with. His ice-cold growl is enough to intimidate anyone, and he dwarfs most men at a towering 6’4. Now in the process of untangling his legal mess, the New Orleans rapper is back to living the dream as a free man (for the time being, at least). Be Fresh, a single off his upcoming album, Screamin’ 4 Vengeance (out July 1), is all about looking the part. Aided by II Deep Muzik’s club-ready production and singer Detroit on the hook, the track is a hard-hitting banger. Let’s just hope that C-Murder, who only recently re-adopted his original stage name after temporarily going by the gentler-sounding “C. Miller,” can stay out of trouble.
I don't know what it is...But I am LOVING this beat and the Chorus! This track has sick Bass Lines! C-Murder doesn't sound bad on here either. I can at least throw this into rotation. This will get bumped in the MP3 this week (in between Carter 3 somewhere)!
this song is okay and the chorus gets annoyin to me...i never been a fan of c-murder as a solo artist i don't think he has great deliver or presence when he on the mic
Man, that hook be fresh (pun intended) Detroit's singing flow and delivery be on point. I have never been a fan of C-Murder, nor checked his music out, not once for that matter. So, I guess I'd say this is my first experience of him, and it's not bad. Production is super crispy. This ain't bad at all. I'll throw it in rotation.

Who knew that a song entitled "Be Fresh" could be appropriately described as 'fresh.' Novel concept and a solid record. I am looking forward to C's July release.

Oh man this song is a banger. C-Murder's flow was perfect for this beat and the chorus is disgustingly sick. Not quite classic but yes banger material for sure.
