Although Sacramento, California rapper C-Bo has gained notoriety for his hardcore lyrics (which led to him getting in trouble with the law numerous times), he takes a different approach with the new single from his seventeenth studio album (this is not a misprint), West Side Riders 4. Though he’s known for being ready for trouble, right now he’s just Lookin’ For A Dime to get with for the night. The upbeat tone (set by the synth-heavy production) should definitely make Lookin’ For A Dime a hit among the type of fan who enjoys both underground music and club bangers. West Side Riders 4 will be available August 5.
I knew with you guys saying this song sucks that I would end up liking it. Ha Ha. I mean the song has a banning beat that I like so I feel it. Again you guys always hate on songs with good beats and like all the songs with lame beats because supposedly the lyrics are good.
Yeah thinks for agreeing with me WOW:) You probably have the closest music tastes to me on this site then anybody else though there are some songs I like that you dont like What UP T.I I see you gave that song a 2 and thats like my new favorite song I rated that song a 5 four times because its my new favorite song. Again listen to that song through your headphones it really sounds good maybe you will like it more.
P.C. drops a nice beat. The production is deeply layered. C-Bo is just following what is working in the music industry...that's a catchy, simple hook. This should work for the general public. This track is solid.
Well Matthew I love songs with good beats, I have been often criticised because I was considering more the beat on a song instead of the lyrics...but this song sucks, sorry to say that! The beat is good, ok, I know it'll go in the clubs...but I honestly get really bored listening to this, it's sooo repetitive! His flow is lame and his voice annoying! The beat is important to me, but a song has to have something more than just a good beat. It's ok, nothing more to me
Again I always fall sucker to a good beat. Its just the way I have felt music my whole life and I can not change that so I will rate songs with good beats high. There is only one song with a good beat that I can not stand and thats Rocko Im goona do Me The lyrics annoy the hell out of me on that track. I wear Balley you ware Rebock you like her you might wife her I dont like her I one night her shut the fuck up. I cant stand it. Such a waste of a good beat on a song.
man i been a fan of Bo long before anyone knew him. he woulda never had a garbage beat like this before sellin out to young buck n the south... i like buck n all but he put out way better shit on an independent level. this ain't real Bo to me.
Matthew 101 I agree with you...I'm a suckers of good beats too! You know, to me hip hop is something energic, something that makes me forget my problems...when I'm down I put a catchy song and dance and sing to it like crazy! When I hear some depressing music I usually listen to metal music, for example. That's why I'm often club-oriented, but I know people who grew up in hip hop culture won't appreciate this and I understand them! In Italy hip hop doesn't nearly exist, I need time to get used to the several tipes of hip hop songs, so my ratings (who are widely hated) are always weird I guess
