Thanks to the massive success of We Fly High, Jim Jones has become the face of the Diplomats. After numerous guest appearances, a new deal with Sony, and the moderately successful Harlem’s American Gangster, the former Capo is bringing his Byrdgang crew into the spotlight with the July 1 release of M.O.B. (Members Of Byrdgang): The Album. On a potential follow-up to the reworked single Splash, Jones offers a somewhat more emotional verse than we’re used to hearing, openly acknowledging his fear of the feds, rival gangs, and how fast his Heart Beat increases when he’s around both. Backed up by NOE, Hell Rell and a beat by Oneya (for the Ulepics), Heart Beat is one of the brighter moments on the M.O.B.
The look in the picture is so thuggish and punkish at the same time. Nice photo-op. This joint BANGS. J. Jones does a good job on this. The second rapper sounds like a younger JAY-Z. The beat is uplifting. This song is ORGANIC!
I don't know. I don't like the production. It sounds dime a dozen, and a lot like Jim's last single. MAN! I forgot about this guy N.O.E for a second. This is flipping Jay-Z man...I don't care what nobody says. This dude sounds just like Jay! LOL. This track is straight. I would have preferred better production, maybe something smoother. Hell Rell came off! "Almost Kanye West'd myself!". LOL. I'll throw this in rotation. It's not bad.
I do like the production here. The hook is kinda misplaced. Them broken equipment cats had me dyin watchin they paradys on these niggas. I can't look at them without thinkin bout what i saw last night. This is a solid track from the gang, NOTE: ANOTHER PRIME EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE USING M.O.B. I mentioned that earlier. Show the OUTLAWS some love.
Thanks, k-boy. We are happy to read that you enjoyed the entire selection for today. This is one of the tightest tracks off the new MOB album. Jones isn't my favorite emcee, but I always listen to what he has to say.
NOE sounds like Jay-z on certain words he says. Good thing, BAD THING???
Eventhough I don't think Jim Jones is good at all, this track is decent. Hell Rell does what he does. basically carried the track.
The beat wasn't all that. When I think of dipset I think of hard beats. I can't stand Jones. I was just waiting on Hell Rell. He ripped this track up. Really the only bright spot.
