With all the guest work Busta Rhymes has been doing lately (Look At Me Now, Worldwide Choppers, etc.) you may not have realized just how long it’s been since we’ve heard a song from the man himself; over a year, for the record. For the first time since 2010’s Stop the Party, Busta’s back on DJBooth’s pages as a headliner with new single Killin ‘Em, and he’s brought along some help in the form of fellow hip-hop legend LL Cool J. With Ron Browz - yes, that Ron Browz –laying down the kind of sparse, drum heavy beat that’s become his trademark, Killin ‘Em finds Busta breaking out his slow flow, concentrating more on his swag than his breakneck flow. It’s an approach that LL uses as well, pouring out a syrupy verse that makes sure to remind the world of his historic pedigree. So sure Busta and LL are killing the ladies, but can they kill when it comes to DJBooth ratings? We’ll find out soon. While Killin ‘Em doesn’t currently have a home, I’d be shocked if we went another year without another Busta single and, eventually, a new album.

I feel like people aren't going to take these two seriously anymore, which is a shame because of their longstanding credibility and undeniable skill. The problem, for me, however, is that only LL (somewhat) showcases his real style (as best he can these days, I guess) properly, while Busta disappoints. Nathan touched on it above... if Busta Rhymes spazzes the F**k out, the listeners win. If not, not so much.

Huh, I don't see how the rating is so low... Buss came pretty good on here. I was shocked LL was AS good as he was. This shxt bangs.

Im sorry to say, this is bad in more ways then it is good. Busta has an ok verse. The "hook" is akward & I could barely take LL's verse. Maybe next time?

Just not a fan of Ron Browz at all, if he wasn't on the beat and the hook was decent then I'd probably enjoy this.

Busta has been doing impressive things lately, but this isn't one of them. The beat is weird and doesn't match either emcees flow at all. Neither one impresses at all. I'll give them some credit for trying something different, but this just is not very good.

I can't lie, it's a good song, but Busta is capable of better, especially on the first verse. I'd say it's more a 3.5.
