While it seems like Busta Rhymes is jerking us all around, he will in fact be releasing his new studio album, Blessed, in the coming months. After several confirmations with his label reps at Interscope, DJBooth has been assured that the project is on schedule for a late summer release. Rhymes’ two current singles, Don’t Touch Me and We Made It (featuring Linkin Park), are both getting middle of the road spins at national radio, but as the man himself would tell you; its never good to rest on your laurels (especially with the current climate of the record industry). To feed the fans and add some hype to the new project, Tapemasters Inc. and Flipmode Ent. have come together to release a new mixtape, entitled Black Friday Pt. 2, which features the new joint, Breathin Like That. Unlike his most popular work to date, the song features Rhymes quietly and methodically rapping his verses, as opposed to his usual break-neck delivery.
Note: The streaming of “Breathin Like That” has temporarily been suspended.
Pruduction is tight Dre! I know thats you. lol Busta's last album was his best in my opinion and I love what I hear from Blessed as well. This will get spins. Banger!
Lovin the beat. Never was a Busta fan but this is aight. As someone said earlier the Breathing is annoying. I hope Dre didn't produce this cuz he suppose to be working on Detox!
Busta in his purest form--he still got that swagger. This song is going to do some serious damage in the 3 C's (club, car, and crib). Track is FRESH AND ORGANIC!
SICK beat
SMOOTH delivery
dude busta rhymes always was, is and will be one of the best rappers in the game. he kills every style he tries, and this is just another example of it.
Wasn't feelin all the breathing effects, but the beat is dope. Decent track, I think this would be filler if its on the album. Not bad, but a little dull.
this is the beat from Chase the Cat by Hot Rod featuring 50 Cent...at least it sounds very close to it, but the rhymes were nice, Busta can do no wrong
