Though one’s a grizzled Southern vet and the other only just removed the “Young” from his stage name, Houston icon Bun B and ATL mainstay Jeezy have quite a bit in common: both keep one ear pressed firmly to the blacktop, both have extensive trapping experience, both share a taste for towering cash stacks and flashy cars, etc, etc… On Bun’s latest official single, Just Like That, he and his fellow Southern-rap luminary celebrate all of the things that bring them together, flowing over Drumma Boy‘s bombastic mix of clicking percussion and synth-brass/strings. In between showing off his candy-painted Cadillac and nickel-plated nine, the headliner takes a moment to admonish friends-turned-haters who need to undergo “gangster maintenance” or risk being arrested by the “swag police.” So, readers, do you Just Like this single, or do you love it? Either way, you’ll want to pick up a copy of Trill O.G., the final installment in the UGK alum’s three-LP Trill series (get it?), on August 3, when it hits stores everywhere via Rap-A-Lot/Asylum.

No new ground is broken lyrically on this record, but you can't go wrong with Bun, Jeezy and Drumma Boy. This street single should drum up (I know, I know) plenty of anticipation for the new album. Not sure if sales will follow, but Bun's die hard fans sure will.

DJ Z is right, no new ground is broken here...but who listens to Bun B or Jeezy to hear some ground breaking music, let alone both of them at the same time haha. True banger right here

Drumma Boy is starting to sound the same in all of his productions. This is like a retread of Lose My Mind, only worse. Nothing special.

The 1st verse by Jeezy was at most nothing impressive or notable Bun-B was the hardest on this but this @*#$! is still in rotation

Two of the rawest artists in the game going in on a track. Nothing outstanding but at the same right nothing wrong here either. Just an all around solid track.

Expected a full fledge smackdown with Bun-B, jeezy, and Drumma but I feel the same as I did watching Rampage lose his match the other night... let down. It's alright but not great, still wanna hear the album though UGK for life.

While it’s more in the vein of everything we had heard previously from all acts involved, it’s bump-able nonetheless.

Oh hells yeah. It's nothing special, but like Jeezy's Recession album, this is everything you'd want when you're in the mood to blow your speakers out. Sonically it sounds like more of a Jeezy track, but Bun more than makes it his own. The man's a pro.

p.s. - Dear Bun, I'm not sure calling Young Jeezy "Jizzle" is the best look. I'm just saying.

This is just a straight banger for the streets! Bun always comes hard reagrdless of whether it be his own or someone elses track. Jeezy did his thang on the hook while supplying a nice verse as well. I will be bumping this in my ride for sure!

Jeezy killed the hook. Bun always delivers on his verses, never a wack verse yet. Jeezy couldve came harder on his verse. Overall all its cool, like Z said, its hard to go wrong with Bun,Jeezy and Drumma.

Haha I thought I was about to hear some "Echo" when I pressed play for a second. This song all-around was decent. Bun-B is a veteran who is completely in-capable of coming with nothing less than pure fire. Jeezy, on the other hand, I can live without. Surrounded by fantastic production supplied by Drumma Boy, this track goes hard.

Bun B is now officially one of my favorite rappers in the game today! He has proven for the last 4 years or so, that he doesn't put out weak music. I wish I could say the same for Jeezy, but oh well. The production on here has my head boppin. I Like Bun B on here a lot, and Jeezy is OK on here. Still a BANGER!

decent song. 1 question though to the DJ Booth Crew, why does this site always refer to young jeezy as 'jeezy' or reference him taking the 'young' part off his moniker. for the record, even he has said publicly that he is still known as young jeezy

I'm sure it'll grow on me, Bun never can do much wrong by me, but I don't much like Jeezy's hook work here, and with all the synth, the song sounds more like Jeezy's than it does Bun's. It just sounds a little too Jeezy-esque pop-hop for me.

Bun-B is a classic southern MC who drops classic verses everytime he spits. Bangin beat, solid guest showing from Young --uh excuse me, Jeezy. Putting it on the EVO.
