We’ve all wished we could Slow Down Time on occasion, whether to pack more productivity into a hectic day or to spend more hours with loved ones. On Bugus’ latest promo single, the Atlanta emcee fantasizes about prolonging the rare moments of tranquility in a tumultuous relationship, flowing over a beat by DIEMON labelmate Russ (sampled from Les McCann & Eddie Harris’ Go on & Cry). This joint isn’t attached to any larger project, but those digging it can hear more from Bugus on his new 2020 street album, released in late October and available now online.
