Although the Tupac Shakur record of the same name was released well over a decade ago, Atlanta emcee Bugus is out to prove that there still is a Heaven For A G on his album Bombs Over Babylon’s latest single. The young rapper boldly borrows the title of Tupac’s heralded classic, delving into a two-minute long lyrical illustration, which comes across as a dedication to those the rapper has recently lost (his uncle in particular). The record is without a hook, but DIEMON producer Russ Vitale‘s sample-heavy, bass-driven production elevates Heaven For A G’s to stoic level.
