After working under the tutelage of Timbaland and his Beat Club label for many years, which produced the albums Dark Days, Bright Nights and Deliverance, rapper Bubba Sparxxx shifted his career gears and hitched a hayride with Big Boi‘s Purple Ribbon. The Georgia native released one album, The Charm, under the joint deal with Virgin, but experienced disappointing sales after the album’s lead single, Ms. New Booty, essentially birthed the ringtone era. Now, having left his former label for a new deal with Koch (and his own New South imprint), Sparxxx once again has hooked up with his New Booty collaborator, Mr. ColliPark, for the single, I Like It A Lot.
