Singing the hook of a number one song, Nothin’ on You, is a huge accomplishment, and following it closely with another top ten smash, Billionaire, is an unprecedented success. Now the man behind those hits, Bruno Mars, is making a play for the solo spotlight, and it’s hard to think of a better way for the multi-talented artist to make his official debut than with Just the Way You Are. Although Just the Way was also crafted by Mars’ production team The Smeezingtons - you may notice the familiar keyboard sounds - don’t automatically assume it’s simply another attempt at Nothing on You. While the song, like its musical siblings, is also somewhat upbeat, Bruno balances the track nicely with smooth, ballad vocals that fall somewhere between R&B and pop while Mars lyrically lets his special girl know that she’s perfect just the way she is. With a nice joint that can play both on the radio and when you’re alone with that special friend, could this be the hit that will put Mars on the solo map? We’ll know for sure when his currently untitled
Doo-Wops & Hooligans is released this fall.

 Couldn't be more impressed with this official single effort! I think Mars has another charting smash on his hands. We will see if that is the case in a few months. Until then I suggest pressing play again.

When I first heard this song and where it was going I'd thought "shoot Mars did it. Instant Classic."

This is one of those tracks that I can tell has huge radio potential, and I still don't mind liking it. It's catchy, and not too much like his other charting singles. I predict big things for this record.

While i think this is an amazing song, I haven't decided whether or not this could be big on the radio. I actually thought "The Other Side" was more of a radio friendly candidate but it didn't get big at all. I guess time will tell.

I think we can officially declare Bruno one of the biggest reasons Nothin and Billionaire below up. While this may not be my personal favorite, the musicality and talent here is undeniable. I wish Vegas would let me bet on things like Bruno blowing up, the man's a lock for success.

This song makes me all sappy. Love the melodic supernova that is Bruno. Amazingly lovely romantic sweet ballad, all the ingredients for first crush to old married couple magic. The synth work is like Nothin on u but I dig the old school 90s pop ballad feel to it too. I'll never understand how revolutionaries like him are not plastered all over the waves. Lets go DJs, do your work

Bruno Mars can do no wrong these days. He's been banging out hits like a machine for a minute now. I'm still relatively new to Mr. Mars work, but trust me, when I say that everything I've heard from him I like. This is no different.
