It has taken six long years to arrive, but the time has come for British female duo Brit & Alex to make their mark on America. The identical twins, whose debut album will be produced in full by Dallas Austin (TLC, Janet) and Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, The-Dream), recently placed their first single, Let It Go, on the loaded soundtrack to Step Up 2: The Streets. The song is produced by Neff U and is “the story of a girl on the outside looking in, wondering ‘where do I go from here?’” according to Brittany. While their sound is primarily pop, the ladies have a distinct urban edge courtesy of their fitting production. Never have a frog’s “ribbits” sounded so cool.
"dj mcm" i got u ( Uncle Murda- Hard to Kill) but how would u be ruin-n someones hustle?. But i guess u can rate how u want (out of 10)- haha. But i did notice u acually posted a rating on one song:)-u funny.
Anyway, to dis song- betta people coulda been on dis- it's a hot beat!
hot song, at the bigging i had to make sure it was on the right song i wasent expecting anything like this from 2 white girls (no offense) i like it though.
Quite surprised to be honest, I was expecting the typical british pop (with a bit of urban infustion), but it's actually a pretty decent track. Unfortunately the last half of the song became a bit too 'poppish' for me, but I assume this is a pop duo anyways. I must admit the step up 2 soundtrack has some decent songs... even though the movie will likely be poor.
This beat is pretty unique, but something about them sounds so "not hip hop". This will go hard on the "pop" lists, but it won't do Hip-Hop radio as well. It's decent. My girl Brittany could have done it better!
I love the beat, a rapper should have been on this,
I am requesting a remix with 50 cent on this! so give dude a call appearently he his right across the street from Madison Square Gardens!
Great club beat. The beginning is very suspenseful. The "scary-jigsaw" intro is different. Their voice doesn't carry enough energy for the song. The chorus is alright.
I was gonna comment on how much hotter the one on the right is, and then I read they were identical twins. LOL. What? Not a bad song, but not my thing.
