Poe Boy-bred emcee Brisco has rapidly joined the ever-blossoming crop of up-and-coming talent to emerge out of Florida over the last few years. In fact, the Opa Locka native has drawn some comparisons to several industry greats with his gritty, powerful voice and witty wordplay. On the newly recorded (and unreleased) freestyle, Can’t See Y’all, Bris doesn’t take the easy route—what could have been a formulaic “I’ve got so many haters” ode is instead a platform for the emcee to drolly spitbox back and forth with DJBooth favorite Ace Hood. The finished product showcases the two artists riding a high-octane beat by producer J Rock, aggressively letting it be known that they’re at an equilibrium; anything or anyone not on their level is… invisible.
dam the booth is hot tonight, first is brandy then slim, now this crazy @*#$!. got faith in ace, his gonna do it big when cash flow drops. maybe brisco should go mainstream, instead of underground, he definitely got the talent.
I think rappers don't understand the definition of freestyle. Freestyling is going in a booth, turning on a beat and just going off. Its not sitting down listing to the beat and making a verse in your haed, Tell em' Cassidy
This song was decent but nothing special. Am I the only one that thinks brisco has huge potential? I love his flow and I think with a great production he could definetly have a hit
I think Brisco sounds terrible...I really don't like his flow, it hurts my ears! But I love the production, good beat and good background music. I have already heard it, what is it? I can't remember. It's ok, can't say this is garbage
Judging the track as a freestyle, not a single or album track, it isn't bad by any means. Brisco and Ace both have plenty of energy on the record and that is an attribute that we take for granted these days. How many of your favorite rappers sound bored on their sh*t? I hope Bris actually gets pushed in the next 12 mo.
Another garbage song bout clothes, money, cars and hoes. The lyrics do not rhyme at all and these people sound tryin to be like Plies with their annoying voices. The beat is alright but that's bout the only thing dats even good about dis song. 0.5 rating if they had one
freestyle? hmmmm hook on freeestyles? anyways as a freestyle it came out weel. feestyles CAN have hooks its really not that hard to freestyle with a hook in mind. all freestyle means is that they didnt right it came off the head as they were recording and its very believable becua they did not say anthing special. 'm starting to liek ace hoods flwo more and mroe but this song is just ok. 2.75 stars lol
I couldn't help but give this a 4. The energy that both these two bring into this so-called freestyle is great. The production is great and this is a solid track
