As Brisco‘s new single, Just Know Dat continues to rise up the DJBooth charts (currently #2), another one of his previously-unreleased songs has been resurrected. As many of you may know, cars and the fast life for which they’re needed are among the favorite topics of Miami-area rappers; accordingly, we find this Opa Locka native Burnin’ Rubber on the music interstate. 305 natives also favor beats with plenty of bass, a prime example of which Cosmo provides on the production tip. Burnin’ Rubber is the type of record you either love or hate, partially depending on your hometown demographic. Though it’s not currently slated to appear on Brisco’s debut album, Street Medicine, stick with DJBooth to report any tracklist updates.
The mix on this sounds horrible. The beat is WAY TOO low. Brisco sounds like a cross between Shawty Lo and Plies. He's nothing special in my opinion. Cosmo's production sounds hot...but highly lacks decibels. He's not bad, but not my forte.
Maybe it was my headphones but the intro totally destroyed my ears haha. This song was just alright nothing too great but theres something about Brisco that makes me wanna keep listening to him. I love his flow and I think once he gets a song with a nice beat hes gonna have a hit.
I'm feeling the production, beat isn't banging but it's very good! Music is cool...I don't like Brisco's flow, I think he kinda ruins every song he's in! If delivered to someone else, this song could have been a banger. I'll rate this 3 stars, Brisco is 1 but production is 4
yeah, i know tha beat shuda been way loudr so it cuda been hardr but still...therez no d-ni-n dat thiz iz a hott banga!! i mean, u can ride to thiz one.
I see potential in this beat, but it needs to be remastered. Brisco has had some tracks that I like, but this ain't one of them. I can see the Pac influence in his flow.
