With the success of Brandy‘s lead Two Eleven single, Put It Down featuring Chris Brown, it was really only a matter of time before the songstress recruited a pair of hip-hop (growing) heavyweights for a remix. Enter Atlanta spitter and G.O.O.D Music associate 2 Chainz and Young Money artist Tyga. The remix is sans Chris Brown’s crooning, but in its place are two lively verses that seem to give the record a brand new energy despite the fact that it still features Bangladesh and Sean Garrett‘s original production and Brandy’s re-used signature vocals. The original version of Put It Down can be found on Brandy’s upcoming studio album, Two Eleven, which is due out on October 16.

Sorry, Brandy. I liked the original version with Brown better. My A&R two cents: I think Trey Songz and Luda would have murked this production.

I am with Z... I liked the original better, but 2 Chainz is pretty fun to listen to on new remixes and Tyga was different too... Still a pretty good track.

Not a bad remix but it is hard to compare to the original, which was a 5 star for me. Don't think any of the rappers had there best moment on this song.

Let me just say I'm not a fan of hating. But shit can some one please tell me how the hell 2 chainz got in the game?? I heard a song of chrisette Micheles today....great song but this 2 chains wank made no sense on either of his verses throughout the song. And he done did it again with brandy....tut tut I'm dissapointed :(
