Last month, when Brandy jumped inside the DJBooth for an interview, she revealed that her new album, Human, was “versatile” and that she “made [the album] for everybody.” Truer words have never been spoken, as the singer’s new single, Long Distance, discusses one of the obstacles that oh-so-many relationships encounter. On yet another Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced single, Brandy clings to the hope that her mate understands how difficult their separation is for her. While we’re sure “he” understands, it’s safe to assume anyone not dating Ms. Norwood doesn’t feel the exact same way. Long Distance, which follows the lead single, Right Here (Departed), should have plenty of time to bubble at pop radio before the release of Human on December 9.

Amazing effort from Ms. Brandy. Darkchild tore this production up! I liked her first effort at first listen, but then became kind of over it quickly. Departed was easily forgettable, this one here is one of those songs that can definetly stick around. Solid R&B track, it's about time Brandy brought the heat. The production on this is beautiful, with the piano laced 1st verse, which gets better as the song progresses. She's got a hit on her hands with this one, classic track in my opinion!

Very cool. I have always loved Brandy's voice, and when it is looped over it sounds even better. I like this better than the first single and CB is right, the piano on this track is amazing. Keep listening because it keeps getting better as the song goes on.

Dang, look at my baby Brandy! She looks so bomb in that photo. This song goes off! Let me just say that Rodney Jerkins snapped so hard on this piano production. Brandy snapped off. I feel she's definitely stepped into the new world of music and involved. This style of joint, especially the chorus, reminds me a lot of something that Jordin Sparks would create and it at the same time reminds me of a hit that Whitney Houston could have belted out in the mid to late 1990s. This a definitely classic. I'm excited about her new album.

Brandy is back! I'm digging the body of work she is bringing to the table these days. I think she'll do well in this comeback. This is alil slow for my taste, but the writing is great, I know many people will relate to this song, especially during war time. (Shout out to all the troops) This is a good one, Ms. Norwood!

In my humble opinion Brandy is one of the most beautiful black voices around...she's absolutely amazing, her voice is sooo hot and envolving! I just adore her! This song is excellent but it's also one I would get tired of very soon. Music is amazing and her voice too. I'll give it a 4 only because I give a 5 to songs which don't go out of my head

I once thought that every song brandy ever made was the same... but she defently change my mind, the song is soft & sweet in the begining but it seems like she get's fierce with it and the beat gets stronger yeah this song is powerfully a classic!!!!
