For the past few years, Brandon Hines has been one of the better-known singers in independent R&B, having released the critically acclaimed Love Music album as well as its follow-up EP, Weather. After plenty of waiting on his fans’ part, the Detroit-NYC representative is finally reaching out to mainstream ears with his brand-new promo single and debut Booth feature. The new record sees Brandon pursuing a woman who’s proven a a little difficult to get ahold of. That’s a small thing to a giant, though, because Hines is willing to go anywhere and do anything to “Find You.” Ryan Leslie provides the all-important industry co-sign with an 8-bar rap verse and frequent Hines producers Mental Instruments step it up for the big leagues with a smooth, jazzy piano beat. Brandon Hines has yet to be scooped up by a major, but Find You should be just the thing to get labels interested—let the bidding war begin, baby!

This is a GREAT look for Brandon. I agree with Burmy, one of the most impressive indie R&B cats on our radar. Glad we could finally get him in the Booth for a feature. Smooooooth.

WOW- I wasn't expecting this, to be honest. I've never heard of Hines, but he has a really nice voice. This is great production; I love the piano. Leslie's verse works well wit the vibe on the track. I will be lookin out for this cat!

This is smooth right here...The production is on point and Brandon Hines has nice vocals throughout. R-Les contributes a quick verse and the hook is pretty good too. Banger!

Wow I love this guy. I've been listening to him for a min now. He is so talented!
My favorite tracks from him: Look me in my face, When a girl cries, and of course Weather. However....this is so far the track that I like the least from him. But I still like it. |

I am such a fan of R&B featuring other R&B artists but not to so much the R&B turned rapper artists. Brandon really owns this track. Singing from his heart this track a smart selection for a promo single. I really did enjoy the song, it's a nice bath time listen.
Ryan the producer, Ryan the singer, now Ryan the rapper...I frankly could have done without the latter. I think Brandon's voice is powerful enough to carry a song by himself. And I think the song could have done without the insecure pretty girl comment. |

The most promising young artist in the R&B category. I have no clue how he isn't bigger than he is right now. I can hear a little bit of Mario in his voice, but in my opinion he blows even the solid Mario out of the water. The drop in the middle was so smooth and natural unlike so many today that sound good but forced into the song. If I were an exec Mr. Hines would be on my label in a heartbeat.
