Call it star power, charisma, or The It Factor—whatever name you give to that intangible, yet instantly recognizable je ne sais quoi that sets an artist apart from the pack, Brail possesses it in spades. On the latest single off his forthcoming street album, making its world premiere right here in The DJBooth, the Topeka representative takes the opportunity to ball on all those who didn’t recognize it in him from the get-go. Aftertouch produces, serving up a lush chopped-piano groove as the Brail charts his growth from an under-appreciated high-school outcast to a budding hip-hop star. Project Expression as yet lacks a solid drop date, but fans of this Midwestern fast-riser can stay tuned for all the latest on the forthcoming set.

Pretty cool beat-work by Aftertouch. I thought Brail's flow was a bit average, but its still a pretty cool track.

I like the self-deprecating attitude, which comes through in his rhymes. Nice bounce to the track, enjoyable.

Production shines on this! Overall message of the song was pretty cool and I think that with time Brail can really achieve some serious status if he keeps releasing songs like this. Banger!
