While he might be inexperienced in the music game, Queens-bred artist Boxie seems awfully knowledgeable in the dating game. On his new single, Let Me Show You, the 18-year-old takes charge of his relationship and sounds extremely confident in his delivery of the message. Featuring fellow New Yorker Juelz Santana and the production of Wallstreet Entertainment duo Mel & Mus, Let Me Show You is a large step in the right direction for Boxie, who started his professional career with Murder, Inc. in 2005. Signed to Polo Grounds Records, the talented singer was featured on Hurricane Chris’s Playa’s Rock single and will also be featured on several songs off Ja Rule’s long-awaited release of The Mirror.
The production here is smooth too. I'm lovin the 1990's R&B feel to this track. Boxie's voice is really nice and pure here. This has 106 and Park written all over it. Juelz completes what I call a smash.
This song is the definition of average. 1.5 stars and not making it into rotation. Juelz Santana goes hard on this but that's about all this song has going for it.
R&B isn't really my style but this is alright. Voice goes down like a smooth beer. Beat is tight. Aye! Juelz is on the song and he does it plenty of justice. In The rotation for me cuz its not my type of song.
Well Matthew, you may have been wrong but not about me...I like this! It's true that I'm into r&b more than into hip hop, but I find this song good! I've heard better for sure, but it's in rotation. It could have been a banger, but the chorus disappoints me! great beat
...candy coated raaaaaiiiiindrops.... sorry, kids, but i got over this sound long ago. This kid has a lot of talent but I think they should utilize it differently
I feel you Schmooves favorite. The song does have a '90's feel and that's a good thing because the 90's was a good period for music. This is still fresh tho. The hook, the singin' and Juelz is all on point. Radio need to spin this. If not, then I will!!! :)
I'm re-rating many songs today....lol! I needed to write that this track has an horrible chorus, I can't stand it...that's why I removed it from my mp3 player, it got on my nerves :P
