Who is Shad Moss? A lot of fans are asking themselves that very question. After exploding onto the scene as a young rapper, Bow Wow has largely struggled to make the transition to adulthood, even after banishing the “Lil”. That search for a musical identity continues on Bow’s new single Ain’t Thinkin Bout You (which was, somewhat ironically, first heard on the Fan of a Fan mixtape). Topically as far from his last Booth offering For My Hood as you can get, Ain’t Thinkin is a hip-pop jam that harkens back to his teen heartthrob days as producer Kevin McCall lays down a light synth backdrop for Bow to drop some well delivered though not exactly original rhymes about the thousands of women he’s forced to fend off. Speaking of former teen heartthrobs attempting to resurrect their careers, the suddenly resurgent Chris Brown also jumps on the record, providing a sugary sweet but not particularly substantial hook, resulting in a single that won’t rewrite the music history books, but may gain some traction on radio, and in turn secure Bow a release date for his upcoming album Who is Shad Moss?

Crazy how many quality records were birthed on a Tyga/Chris Brown mixtape, none of which have helped Tyga. Not saying this record is a smash hit, but its catchy enough to do some damage at radio. Plus, on the heels of "Dueces," the setup works perfectly.

Alright but this is really only for Bow and Chris' fan base (like most of Bow Wow's music). I doubt it'll be as big as Dueces, like it's intended to, but it'll probably get a few spins on urban radio.

Wasn't my favorite off of the Fan of a Fan mixtape, but still good nonetheless. The added Bow verse was tight; Chris stole the show with his hook and verse, just like he did in the original.

Really catchy; I see pretty good, but not massive, radio potential for this.
CB definitely takes the spotlight here with a load of catchiness. 'Deuces' collaborator KMac's production is ready to pop on radio. |

What can you really say? It's completely harmless, not good, not great pop music. More power to 'em, but I won't be listening.
p.s. - Z's completely right. If I'm Tyga I'm pissed - he's getting completely booted off all the successful songs on his own mixtape.

That's messed up! This was a Breezy Tyga track I think. But now somehow Bow Wow got it from him. The track is still cool with either of them on it. Chris Brown still got it! Bringin the light skin back! LOL! BANGER either way.

Bow Wow has a poodle bark in a Big Dogs world. Come on man. Dude had to have his mothers permission for his whip on his 16th, oops I mean 21st birthday party. WACK!!! If he stayed Lil Bow Wow then I could deal wit em, but he wants to accomplish being "Ganster" his words, and that's just not poppin. He's like a malnutrious T.I. Hollywood blows me away.
