Soulja Boy wants his 15 minutes of fame back. After becoming a mainstay in everything from clubs to frat parties in the fall of ’07 with Crank Dat, the Atlanta ringtone rapper quickly dropped off the face of the Earth. He has now turned to Bow Wow for work, in the hope that collaborating with an established artist can make him relevant again. The two unite on Bow Wow’s potential new single, Marco Polo. Soulja Boy handles the production and spits a quick verse, while Bow Wow takes over most of the rapping. Surprisingly, Soulja Boy is actually the star of the track, outshining Bow Wow with his dominating persona and his (gulp) lyrics. Could he actually be here to stay? The track will appear on Bow Wow’s upcoming album, H.I.M. (History In The Making).

Another simple beat from Soulja Boy and a rapper talking about stunting and money. The chorus is really really annoying, is Bow trying to appeal to the 5-10 year olds who play this game in the swimming pool??? I dont know, but the beat is weak and so are the lyrics. The only positive out of this is the collabo because I think it helps both sides working together. However, they need to come harder than this, especially Bow, who has been in the game for about 10 years now. His "Pole in the Basement" joint is crazy though! This one needs to be a throwaway, 1/5.

LMAO! This song is hilarious. Soulja Boy just took Bow Wow's song from him. WOW!!! This is a Soulja Boy song featuring Bow Wow....I was taken back the 1st time I heard it bcuz its soo ridiculous...but in the right atmosphere...(drunk in a party) it can help u go off. lol

I been waitin to hear this one. Soulja been pumpin this up/for a min. This beat is what I expected. The hook is terrible. Bow Wow is as Vain as ever on this one. I think they need to go back to the lab on this one. Not good.

It's really shocking to see people consider garbage Fruity Loops based beats as hard... There's nothing hard about this beat, believe me! Get the program and see it for yourself 0_o Geez! I was afraid I'd see Bow Wow or Omarion working with SB since I saw them on his video... and the nightmare has just become reality. 1 star goes for the Djbooth team, who was brave enough to feature this despite its complete lack of musical content, just to please likely fans. That’s what I call self-sacrifice.

Since everyone has pretty much summed up this one, I will address a pet peeve of mine. Please try to refrain from making comments like: "this song is old already." This song is not even at radio yet. This song has not had a video filmed for it. Hell, it is not even officially recognized as a single by the label. It's merely a buzz record. It has floated around the internet in a mixtape form for maybe a month. The label just sent it to us this week. Please, recognize. Thanks (Z steps down from soap box).

Man, Bow Wow is way better than this. He needs to get away from Soulja Boy. Bow is not really one of my real favorite artists, but I've rocked with him in the past with jams like "Let Me Hold You Down", "Like You" and "Shorty Like Mine", not to mention the hot singles from the Omarion collabo. This is some of his worst work to date.

by the way, one or a few people CANNOt kill hip hop. hip hop was there before most of them were even alive and will be there when there gone. "soulja boy" "v.i.c" and all this dance stuff will be forgotten aint no talent in what they do.

Charlie...soulja boy didnt lose his 15 minutes. he had a few good tracks on the circut. take shoppin spree and you on that list. good efforts by a young'n. by no means am i saying soulja boi is good at all. im saying he's not going anywhere for a while. About the song. the hook must be the worst i've heard. wow bows lyrics? nope! stick to songs about love. soulja boi? impressed me. "This is not the matrix, but I am the oracle. Now you wanna get with me? that was rhetorical!"

wow, it's creative (as creative as wearing red, white and blue on the fourth!) i think it does more for soulja's down spiraling career than bow wow..didnt he want to break out of the "PG-rated" stigma and he turns around and does a track with soulja boy? btw, adults are done with soulja's "brand" of hip-hop...the sooner kids catch on the soonest his done! i think soulja boy should do a track with jay-z (hahahahhahahaha!)

Soulja's beats are all the same. I can't distinguish a song by him from another one! This is extremely boring, I can't understand what's to listen here...the beat is weak, their flows too...do u know what's the only positive thing? This isn't bad at all. 15 minutes of fame remark is false... Soulja does come with a little when he spits his verse. I admit that Marco Polo hook was a bit annoying but he sounds like he's doing Gucci Mane's style of rapping.
