It may be about four days too late to really be yelling “Cheers!”, but if you’re like me, New Year’s Eve is far from the only day on which you raise a glass (drinking is bad kids). Determined to make the celebratory feel of NYE last all year long is BOOGNIGHTS - who we last heard spitting an ill DJBooth freestyle - and to make that dream a reality he’s released the aptly named Cheers! An acoustically oriented track that uses soft rock group One Republic’s Good Life as its base, Cheers! is exactly the positively oriented track we need to kick off a happy and successful 2010, thanks in no small part to BOOG’s smooth as silk rhyme style. I’ve got no doubt that some folks will find the song a little too soft for their tastes, but that will just leave more glasses for the rest of us to toast with. I could only see myself playin this twice a yr. now (begining of Jan. & in the last part of dec.) because i cannot see myself bumpin to this in the seehara desert type heat in The Bronx when the AC is out, idk its just me, but the track is really good tho! 2.5

great track, will stay as a classic for me for the ages, great melody, some of the most well sung lyrics even though some people wouldnt believe me this is going to be a classic probs no airplay but @*#$! the radio greatest chill song out there this is late but happy new years every1 xD

Ryan Tedder forms an organic sound with silky, dulcet tones between spaced-out drums and claps, while BOOGNIGHTS and an uplifting sample harmonize delicately between each second of air in track. Hip-hop presented in unassuming fashion.

I'll make it short and sweet. Cheers to everyone who made DJBooth's 2009 so successful (including BOOG). Hope everyone's ready to go get yours in 2010. Couldn't have asked for a better song to serve as the soundtrack to that sentiment.

Well this is refreshing, not to mention fantastic. It is mellow yet upbeat, and he flows very nicely over it. And despite how much I enjoyed the beat itself, the lyrics were even better. I feel as though I cannot hate on it at all, thoroughly enjoyable in every aspect.

God i dont know how i never heard this song before . This maybe one of if not my favorite feature on the Booth since I joined (only a few months). Boognights is not a one hit wonder tho, after hearing this song i downloaded his ARTiste mixtape. ITs pretty sick. Def gonna keep my eye on this cat
